Look forward to E3 and SDCC
When asked by IGN about Capcom's plans for the big anniversary, Ono said, "around E3 timing, maybe even San Diego Comic-Con, we have one or two surprises we hope our fans will look forward to."

Don't expect any Rival Schools though
IGN also asked if Capcom has any surprises planned for the Rival Schools series. Ono replied, “I’ll let you know that the surprises this year are not going to be Rival Schools.”

My hope is Alpha series compilation for current consoles and PC. CvS2 release would also be welcomed.

Street Fighter 1 Japan Stage remade

For a million fight money

30 anniversary is a big deal

But seriously it would be cool if we just got a Street Fighter Collection

Ultra Street Fighter 1 (be able to select all characters)
Ultra Street Fighter 2
Ultra Street Fighter 3 (add in stages from previous games and be able to select previous versions of characters)
Ultra Street Fighter Alpha (this was a special mode in Alpha Anthology, expand on it)
Ultra Street Fighter 4

It's probably a major update for Street Fighter V. Maybe some free veterans to celebrate SF's 30th Anniversary, but that's just me being optimistic.

I just bought 3rd Strike PS3 from the flash sale but I wouldn't mind getting it again on PS4 if it meant more people to play it with.
Third Strike: Online Edition was a good-ass port that deserves to be brought over to the current generation. Same for MvC Origins & Darkstalkers Resurrection.

this is what we should be expected of the SF 30th ann but we're just going to get some DLC for SFV...

Not sure why they'd even ask Ono about Rival Schools since it's not his series, though his denial doesn't mean anything since he likes to mislead.

I'm not expecting a new RS this year anyway since they just announced MvCI, but I do think it'll be the next Capcom fighter that gets revived.

I feel like Itsuno would be the one to revive Rival Schools, but he's already working on his next project (which is likely DMC5)......unless Rival Schools is his next project.

"We've heard your complaints about Street Fighter V being absolute shit. Announcing today, Street Fighter VI! PC/PS4/X1/Switch with cross play between all platforms featuring Ibuki with her original move set and Ken with hair that does not resemble bananas. Street Fighter V servers are being shut down and everyone is getting refunds for our half-baked attempt at a competent release."

Is about the only surprise from Ono that would make me happy at this point.

It would definitely be Itsuno, and he's publically stated he already has the base idea for RS3. I don't think it's his current project sadly (would love to be wrong) but I do think it'll be in the works in the relatively near future.
