My wife did the same before the election came to an end. After the reality hit her and she's becoming as engaged as I am to the point where we spent the weekend calling our reps and leaving multiple messages. She's understanding why I put myself through listening to Trump's bullshit.

Edit: Speaking of Trump's bullshit, I think at this point it's safe to say that his first State of the Union will be him praising himself for the first 15 minutes.

Oh, it amuses me no end to think of all the God-fearin' Catholics and Evangelicals who voted for Trump reading about this. This has got to make them squirm, even if it's just a little, surely?

I think the best way to reduce Bannon's influence on Trump is to play it all the way up. Make it seem like Trump is child just signing whatever Bannon gives him, do stuff like what TIME is doing and place him on the front cover. Make it appear that Trump will follow whatever advice Bannon would give irrespective of fallout. Refer to him as President Bannon as that Muslim commentator on CNN was doing the other day.

None of this is guaranteed to work, but if there's anything I've learned about Trump's personality, it's that he loves, absolutely loves being top dog. Anyone who infringes on that can and will be viewed as an opponent. Valerie Jarrett had nowhere near the publicity Bannon has and that was a good thing. Give Bannon the spotlight consistently and Trump will look to diminish it himself.

There really is no Christian vote, it's all racial. The breakdown of the votes between whites and minorities among the various denominations are mirror images of each other.

I think this is on the money, really. Trump is sitting president and having twitter fights with the person who replaced him on his old show. He's easily manipulated by the media, in some ways.
