Congrats, chrono01!

As for me, three 11-rolls, seven scouting tickets, and a roll in the blue ticket box provided three new Rs, six SRs (all new), and a new SSR (Pure Kotori). Obviously not as good as I'd've liked, but two of the SRs were harem ahem, dancing girl Eli and Nontan, so I'm okay with it.

I was also able to snag Little Devil Nico! It took 12 of my 13 mass scouts so I was getting nervous by the end, but she is in my present box ready to be incorporated into my team as my new leader/account ambassador. I also got a bunch of other devils and SSRs, and that Oni Kotori card that just had an event (which I only got one of during the Event). I'm very pleased with my haul.

Congrats Chrono! I'm waiting until an hour I'm more alert to do my mass summoning, I mean rolling. I want to be sure I can fully appreciate the joy or sorrow of whatever happens.
Thanks!

Congrats Chrono! Your savings are worth it in the end :D. How many love gems do you have left?
Thanks, as well. Yeah, nice to see my patience/saving be rewarded in the end.

As for how much Love Gems I have left, it's just under 150. I could probably reach 200, with daily rewards and I still have a nice amount of stories to complete. Hell, I could probably make 250. I also have 12 blue tickets that I'll save for Devil Nozomi.

Congratz~
Thanks man!

Sorry you couldn't be successful, but congrats on expanding your harem. :)

Man, I'm happy for you. I know you were saving hardcore for this Nico, same as I was, so I wanted to see us both be successful. I'm glad it became reality for the two of us!

Congrats to you! Wow, on your 12/13 Scout too, I can't imagine how you felt at that moment. I'm glad to see things turn around for it, and Devil Nico join your team.

Man, RNG is funny. I blew 4 11 special draw tickets and got only a couple of SSRs. Then I just use 17 scout tickets and get 2 URs...

Version update tomorrow. According to people illegally accessing KLab's development servers it'll take us to 4.1, which will roll up the following changes (among other small things):
- 2x/3x/4x as a permanent option for all normal play (multiplies G/exp/score/tokens gained, doesn't multiply bond/play count/drops. But does seem to boost the chance of an R drop)
- no longer forced to use up all tickets before gem scouting in non-limited box
- better SIS management tools (see who's equipped with what, sort member list by # equipped)
- filter album by "only cards you've owned"
And the big one:
- skip over animations on song clear screen

I mostly play in random so I barely even notice.

Also wow this community is completely dead now. Guess Fire Emblem sucked all the air out of the room.

Game is losing a bit of steam, even on the JP side. It almost became the first event where you could have made tier 2 and got the 2 event SRs without getting the other 2 SRs for event scoring. Though, finally with the x4 songs, this will make token events the easiest events of them all.

I think most of the GAF people are just on Line for the most part.

Has there been any news on how many people did that tournament thing that was in game? I assume that would be the most dedicated fanbase.

And the way the game is at this point, there's really not much new to strive for. You're basically getting event SRs so you can sell them to make better SSRs/URs.
I hope they get desperate enough to lower the second SR to 50k points or lower, and maybe ease some of the seal idolization requirements.

Or they can just go crazy and fully cast all the Normals and give them their own story. lol

There doesn't seem to be any live viewings of the Aqours first live anywhere in the Americas.

Feels bad, man. Especially considering that a screening in the Philippines would cost like 26 bucks per ticket with some goodies included.

But hasn't that, uh, kinda been how the game's been since the start? Or at least from a few months in.
Well, for me the songs were something that I looked forward to... but since three of the four event types just involve playing the same old songs over and over again, it's kind of tedious. At least Score Match introduced technical so you aren't just playing the same chart over and over again, but even then...

Admittedly, Idolmaster is starting to feel the same way... the only difference is that it's a more generous with giving event rewards and allowing you to "idolize" cards easily.

Guilty Eyes Fever. Goddamn. Goddamn.

agreed. agreeeeeed. tho minor complaint, they reaaaaally love the word 'guilty', huh

we still don't have a preview for Happy Party Train, right?
also, is it just me or is Aqours relatively slow with the song releases? I wasn't around when µ's beginnings so iono how frequently they released singles but I'm still waiting for solos/duos/other (especially solos)

I can't believe I wasted time looking this stuff up.

http://vgmdb.net/product/2588

Partial listing:
Code:
µ's
8/13/2010	major group single
12/22/2010	major group single
5/25/2011	unit single
6/21/2011	unit single
7/27/2011	unit single
8/24/2011	major group single
11/23/2011	solo single
12/14/2011	solo single
1/25/2012	solo single
2/15/2012	major group single
18 months, 18 songs

Aqours
10/7/2015	major group single
4/27/2016	major group single
5/11/2016	unit single
5/25/2016	unit single
6/8/2016	unit single
7/20/2016	anime single
8/3/2016	anime single
8/24/2016	anime single
9/14/2016	anime single
11/9/2016	anime single
11/23/2016	game single
14 months, 24 songs
So by virtue of the anime airing in their first year (and, well, the fact that the Love Live brand/franchise had five years worth of reputation put into it), Aqours has had more releases compared to µ's so far in their respective timeframes. With the 1st live just a week away, when you add in the BD bonuses they have a pool of 30 songs already -- 17 full group, 9 subunit, and the rest partial groups from the anime.

As Articalys has shown with the graphs, yeah, there's no comparison. Those early days of Love Live in 2010-2012 were really slow going as they were trying to build the franchise. They started to gain a bit of traction in 2012 (with their first concert and an appearance at Animelo, plus the announcement of the TV anime for 2013), but we haven't even reached that point with Aqours yet, in terms of how much time that took to get there.

Maturity, bitches.

Yep, can confirm. Also, doesn't help many people in the community didn't post much on GAF in general so moving from this thread to LINE meant there was very little bringing them to GAF.

welp. should've half expected that, really. thnx for taking the time looking this up

@BGBW tbf, the µ's subunits were never canonically formed in the anime either (tho yes there's the training camp but that was only temp). who'd want to third wheel NicoMaki? how can NozoEli or RinPana stand being separated?

THE DREAM IS REAL. HOPE IS ALIVE. in the darkest of times, the SHIIINY will push through. now just need the time off and make arangements for san deigo viewing.

Yet. Have hope. Because I don't see any Day 2 showings, either. Or LA and SF. I'm just hoping this is the tip of the iceberg for North America.
That's a good point, but the company they're holding the viewings with only seems to have 6 locations from what I can tell :|

Edit: Apparently they said they would announce more locations! :0 http://www.azolandpictures.com/love-live-sunshine-aqours-first-concert-scheduled-to-have-delayed-broadcast-screenings-in-select-u-s-cinemas/

Eizoland...err, Azoland (no, it's pronounced Eizo, as in 映像 or eizou, which means movie, which makes the name of the company seem so ordinary :p ) is the company that handled the Love Live Movie, so I'd expect a showing in LA at the Downtown Independent. March 4th (the Saturday) has something in the evening, but they should be able to do something in the afternoon. As well as on March 5th. C'mon 2nd day showing!

What the fuck? They introduced a song that requires four fingers to play? What were they thinking?

just a taste of the arcade version ;D there's parts that sorta require 6 fingers, too. at least in the Bokura one. near the end there's 2 long hold notes with multiple single notes on the inner side but then switches to multiple single notes on the outer side... fun

I was totally surprised, and then of course because the Japanese use "red" to mean confirm (instead of cancel like normal people!) I accidentally used a loveca to heal. :p

I guess it's neat, but yikes. Pretty much unplayable on a phone. lol

the fight for tier 1 song is real x_x
will have to invest my Chika's mom and a non-deal S Seal reidolization (Healer) to push my score to ~587k. a quick and dirty estimate puts the cutoff at 583k~588k >.<

San Diego was a bloodbath. Such a bloodbath that when they put up a 2nd showing on the same day, it was gone even faster. I don't think the tix lasted more than 5 min the 2nd round.

And all other locations still seem to have openings. :p

Yeah, the Dallas one didn't seem too hard to get into at all. My friend was able to get tickets quite a few hours after you were able to buy em.

Actually, you can still buy tickets to all other locations when I checked this morning, though DC (60 seat theater) was down to ~6 seats. Dallas and NYC don't have seat choice options, so I can't really tell and Fairfax had ~40 seats open. It's just San Diego that sells out within minutes of it going up. :p Then again, it's the only west coast spot, so people from LA and SF are buying them, too. As well as people from AZ and LV (I heard).

just got mine as well! (NYC)

Yeah, makes sense. They really should open this up to more theaters around the country here. Then again, it's the first live, so I guess they wanna see if it gets them money (which I'm sure it will). Here's hoping Aqours second live gets way more theater options.

Thank god I go to school in Dallas, otherwise it would've been a "So close, yet so far" situation lol
