Pretty funny episode, but it's too bad that we didn't get Cure Macaron this weak.
Oh well, at least we are getting her next time.

a very big step down from the actual series it is based off of.
I did however like the 8bit remake of one of the openings for the end song though.

oh well I will burn through two more episodes to knock it off my funimation dubs list for a later date so I can reach my goal of watching at least 3 episodes of every dubbed anime on funimation.com by the end of the year lol.

I think its great once more of the cast is introduced, I think i felt the same with s1 of thr main anime too. Karma kun, itona, are integral to the series success.

Look, it's clear that the script for LWA TV is pretty bad. So this episode just ignored all that character stuff, all that boring world building stuff, and swapped it for fun times.

That's all I can ask for at this point. Fun.

I feel Oshii's Ghost in the Shell movie adaptation is much closer to Shiro's Appleseed manga regarding narration and pace. While that 1988 mediocre Appleseed OVA seems closer to the original Ghost in the Shell manga.

No Akko mess ups and no Diana showing us how great she is and all of a sudden one of the best episodes in the series! Actually was a lot of great animated segments and Sucy's VA must have had some fun with a bunch of different voices.

That's what I expected jumping into this series and this episode shows they need to just focus on their strength.

Ok this is so good!

We begin with the biggest *oh so this is what it is moment* following episode 6. Then the awesome comedy continue witht the Tarzan and Jane project...that was hilarious. But then HOLY SHIT Drew what is this! That state was absolutely gory, I'm shocked! Great ending tho, Dr.Love is a really cool addition to the cast.

Also yea pretty cool that tokyo ghoul season 3 is pretty much confirmed.

A season with My Hero Academia season 2 is obviously going to be the best season of the year. Spring was the best season last year too.

Starmyu, YGO VRAINS!, Futurecard Buddyfight 4, GranBLue, Kabuki Club, Tomica Hyper Rescue, and Boruto are the best of the bunch for next season.

confession from Yusako in absolute space; kinda awkward confessing after speaking with Ken's dead ex-lover in absolute space though.

I'm noticing a theme of displaying the unique strengths of animal species which is then contrasted to human ingenuity. Both episodes start with Bag feeling inadequate to her kemono friends but in the end her inventiveness helps solve issues they could never solve themselves.

Kenya Boy - Sweet jesus. So this is what it's like when Nobuhiko Obayashi, the director of Hausu directs an anime. From the ever-shifting art style, the weird fourth-wall breaks / knowingness of the weirdness, the live-action and 3DCG bookends, to the inclusion of
lizard people, nazis, and dinosaurs
, culminating in a
fight between a giant snake and a t-rex slathered in video effects before the protag and crew ride the half-pixelated glowing snake on a psychedelic tidal wave to safety
, this was just all over the place and I enjoyed it quite a bit!

Seems like there's no breaks on Canon's great despair train. Note to self; when finally transported into land of 2d waifus, never pick time travel powers.


Because of all the harping about Kaburagi's older sister, I thought I forgot some major character from Right of Left but even provisional wiki check makes it seem like she was some minor fodder character. Well excuse me, you have ( and always had) enough of those as it is. Can't expect me to remember every single one.

Certainly the best episode by a country mile thus far and indeed Sucy has been needing her time in the spotlight.
