This will probably be the easiest torment for me. Somehow I have Maria and Leon's BSB, Gordon's flame shield, Guy's Axe and Firions first axe. The only thing I really am missing is a medica. Ive gotten all this despite never pulling on a FF2 banner.

I must start to just suck at this game or something. I show up against the 3 Gigas with full bars of Firion BSB, Maria BSB, Minwu instant Medica and I can't last long, no AoE mitigation is killing me. They Boulder for 4k, spam strong AoE magic even if I equipped resist gears. Maybe with wall as RW... I don't know, it's not fun and I question my life decisions.
Edit: Yea there is no way I can do this without wall RW I think, even with great relics for II. Only people I saw doing the CM so far on Reddit also used wall. Will try again in a few days, I feel burnt.

Cleared the D200, wasn't actually that hard as long as you can survive the first attack, which is almost straight up impossible unless you buff on round 4.
I used
Orlandeau (osb/bsb) with biora strike / blizzaga strike,
Agrias (bsb, ssb, unique) with protectga / firaga strike
Tyro (wall) with exhausting polka / heathen frolic
Galuf (bsb) with meteor crush / Lifesiphon
Ysh'tola (bsb) with shellga / curaja
For trash i used mako might on galuf, open with meteor crush -> bsb then he would one shot most rounds while simultaneously healing everyone
I forgot to buff on round 4 and the thunder guy opens with Thunderbolt every time, before you can even do anything, so after 20 s/l trying to get wall up and subsequently eating 6500 AoE Thunderbolts i used defend on turn 1, and after that it was pretty easy. With both dances up plus proshellga and wall even thunderbolt was only doing like 800 AoE damage, and Galuf was off healing with hos BSB

I use it mostly for elemental coverage. In practice all I ever do on Greg is lifesiphon and BSB. I'll switch to Saint/Gaia's Cross when I can spare the orbs to make it.
Fair enough. That will do that job alright.

We need another dungeon update. I've been caught up for a few weeks now and thanks to power creep I just finish all the events too quickly.

Man the d250 torment is bonkers, only thing i can come up with is to have native wall, 1-2 native osbs, and use a Doomtrain RW. The lightning guy has to die before the 2nd Thunderbolt or you have almost no chance.
I got it to 25% but then I always lose 1-2 people to a Thunderbolt. Even fully buffed/debuffed it hits 2k AoE but even that takes multiple turns to set up

Cleared both 200 and 250 last night, though I haven't been able to do any CMs for the Torments.
Party set up was basically unchanged for the two fights, and everyone had element resist accessories. Hindsight says to go for Ice resist since those stupid Gigas like to counter some AOE attacks with AOE Blizzaga.
RW Wall
Lightning (99) BSB / OSB - Lifesiphon / Omega Drive R2
Onion Knight (99) BSB - Chain Biora R2 / Shell
Alphinaud (99) BSB / SSB - Bahamut R3 / Valigarmanda R1
Tyro (99) Wall/BSB - Multibreak R2 / Ultra Cure R3
Aerith (80) USB - Curaga / Protectga
Strategy was to use Alphinaud / Onion Knight BSBs to clear trash - Valigarmanda works wonders on trash and Alphinaud can refresh this with BSB Cmd 2. Aerith throws down Protectga and is on heal duty while Tyro is on off heals and auto attack to build SB bars.
Lightning spams Lifesiphon to build bars, and switches to BSB around round 3.
By round 4 or 6 depending on the level of difficulty, I cast RW wall and made sure Proshellga was up going into the fight since the Giga will cast AOE Thunder.
During the Giga fight, focus on the Thunder Gigas first and ensure buffs remain up. Onion Knight spammed Chain Biora until he ran out then switched to Chainspell. Lightning spammed Omega Drive (after being boosted by OK) and switched to BSB commands afterwards. After the Thunder Gigas goes down the fight becomes quite a bit more manageable.
Alphinaud rotates between Valigarmanda and BSB cmd2 to refresh Valigarmanda. Tyro multi breaks and heals while Aerith heals casts her USB whenever possible.
These fights were made a lot easier with Aerith's USB which I had the fortune of pulling. She unfortunately died about halfway through the final Giga in the 250 stage, but I managed to pull through with Tyro's wall/blink and 1 cast of ultra cure.
Having the Gigas broken, proshellga and wall + resist accessories makes all the difference. I assume you can sub in another useful SB like Divine Guardian (for even more RES+Haste+Heavy Regen) or another Medica like Rosa's will help especially if it is combined with blink, or even Minwu's instacast Medica.
Valigarmanda was hitting for about 24k per turn and Alphinaud was without a doubt the dps MVP in these fights. Got master on both with 2 medals lost for damage taken - Valigarmanda is great since it hits all the weaknesses except for poison.

Been playing the game semi-casually for almost a year now. Can beat most event to almost the highest level, but lately I've been going through and cleaning up story mode since I never did it. OSBs make these ridiculously easy. Cleared all the classic ones, making my way through Elite, which is a slog mostly because of stamina cost. I've got 158 stamina now and just about 300 mythril saved for the anniversary.

Finally, after 40 odd SL and a few extra wrinkles later, did the U+ Rufus CM. Thanks RPH for the Cloud RW, was super handy for squeezing out that extra DPS!
Thankfully my XIII synergy is pretty bangin', so hopefully it's not such a headache next week!

Finally beat U++ but that was annoying. After a ton of save/loads, I finally got past turn # 2 with all characters alive and mitigation up, then I forgot about the enrage, played too conservatively, and he enraged with like 5% HP left. Had to do it again and remember to go all-out with damage.

Yeah, 1 free pull then 50 mythril unlimited pulls and the banner lasts 1 day. There're 2 more OSB we still don't know about.

Not yet, but they have Cloud of Darkness and Emperor.
I always liked Rubicante. He doesn't really shit-talk you or anything. I think I remember him even healing you before the fight.
Do all events as far as you can. They come out every Thursday.
Do 1 free pull every morning when you collect your daily login bonus.
Do as many classic dungeons as you can without using a mythril for stamina refresh. Right now most important thing you can get is a stamina shard from clearing realm dungeons.
You can use orbs to increase the amount of uses (hones) of spells, but don't go hog wild as there will come a time not too far away where every orb is valuable.
Sunday daily dungeon is exp day. That's big deal!
Roaming Warriors will one or two shot everything for you.
Synergy is important.
Most people use the majority of their mythril for pulling relics. If you are going to do this, then yes, wait for the anniversary period which is about two weeks away.
Break and Breakdown (Debuffs) are big in this game.

There is nothing to celebrate with the lack of Orlandu. So many bad choices, omg.

I like how one of the medal conditions is "win before he uses shadow flare". It might as well have just said "win", and if that's the case, why do we even need that medal condition in the first place?
I don't have the patience for that kind of stuff.

I think its a numbers check, really. I went in with my A-team (physical), and barely made it (had to SL a few times). I have native wall, so i went with Y'Shtola as my healer and used an Onion Knight BSB as RW.
I have onion bsb and ysh with wall on mah team like.
