leave the bears alone
Are you sure itwas Silver? I may need to double check but I thought those were all White Maned/Tier 3.
Finally got past the beginning area of the game and wow it really does feel great once the game opens up. I'm finally free!
Just finished a shrine inside a waterfall, I came out and theres some. WTF lolelectric dragon
Also, how long does it usually storm for? I can't climb to where I want to go because its storming out.
I have yet to see a single bear in this game. Where the hell are they?
OMG
Try shooting wild animals with ice arrows next time you're hunting haha
I fought and killed one, though I can't remember where exactly I came across it other than it was in a wooded area. Took 20 or so arrows to take it down.
Why kill it when you can ride it?
Thanks for the tip! I will take a look when I play later.Fought and killed a few in the forested area very early in the game, just west of the first stable you visit(the one en route to kakariko if following quest markers). I even mounted one, but didn't have enough stamina to calm it down to ride.
What am I doing wrong in following the shrine detector? It beeps, I follow. Then the beeping slows/disappears? So I turn around and follow. It beeps, then stops again? Is it like below me? Are some of them hidden inside mountains or trees or something?
It's not for any specific shrine, I think I just don't know how to read the thing very well.

I can't even get started on the Divine Beasts. I keep getting distracted and afraid i'll start moving along too quickly....
is there a point toI did it and nothing happened. I just stumbled across it so I don't know if it's part of a quest or sonething.taking the leap of faith into that zora lake by the sign on mountain?
Nope, you still gotta do it.Doesn't the Guardian shield reflect lasers? Or at least that's what the description said i think; maybe for only little ones lol.
When you get used to it, it is very helpful. It isn't as user friendly as out could be, since it will be full then I'd the shrine is under our above you it drops to just two lines being lit, but it works.it's worthless just depend on your eyes
Without giving any spoilers, can anyone tell me how the game progresses if it's so open once you leave the plateau?
If you can go anywhere in the world from the beginning, how do they handle progression of the main quest line? Or is there no story outside of, "Kill the final boss."?

Holy fuck just when I was about to destroy that last decayed guardian, Blood Moon occurred and everybody respawned lol. Laser beams galore!
Are the decayed guardians how you get cores? Or is it just random?
I realized today that I've been playing for a week now, at LEAST 4-6 hours a day, and I have yet to actually complete a dungeon. I started one, got my ass handed to me by a boss, went to go level up and then just got consumed doing other stuff.
This game is so rad.
Then you get Stasis and Apparatus. These shrines are so much better than dungeons.
Quick couple puzzles not bogged down by traversing distances.
Where can I find a Silver Lynel? It's the last thing I need for the compendium. I thought.there would be one in Hyrule Castle like the other Silver variants but the challenge rooms stopped with a White Maned Lynel
Secret area in thelabyrinth.
A gazillion laser sights suddenly appear.
Welp.
I've completely abandoned any attempt to "play" this game at all. Usually when I play a Zelda, the trick is gaming it. I aim to get to [x] dungeons within a day or so. I set certain progression goals for the story to balance it out with exploration of the overworld, etc. Here I'm just like... fuck it. After a week I realized it doesn't matter. I can pick up the game and literally play -any- way I like and it's satisfying. I just explore an inch at a time, going from shrine to shrine, cliff to cliff, cliff to ruin, ruin to tower, etc. There's always something to find, There's always a puzzle or a mystery or a secret around the corner. I'm just going to get lost in Hyrule and play this game for however long it takes. When I eventually get to the next region with a dungeon, I'll worry about it then. Wow.
I noped out of there with fast travel so quick lmao
I don't think there's ever been a 3D Zelda with so many successful "oh shit shit shit shit" moments.Secret area in thelabyrinth.

This game is surprisingly great in small bursts. Usually Zelda games required you to put some time aside but now I can get a lot of enjoyment from just 5 mins of running around.
The bottom floor of the open air Colliseum.
If you snitch out Kilton can you still buy his stuff?
Man I shouldn't have told on my boy
You can use this to your advantage by throwing metal weapons at enemies just as lightning is about to strike too.Ran into awho attacked me right away... but it happened to be during a thunderstorm. I'd already put away my metal gear, but he was using that sickle. When I saw the electricity warning on my my gamer instincts told me "he's using this to his advantage." I didn't realize the metal-attracts-lightning rule applies to enemies too -- until a lightning bold knocked me on my ass and obliterated him and the tree he was next to.Yiga clan ninja
