Zelda is a series that brings out the collector in a good few of us, especially with limited edition versions - which potentially could include the Wii U version, taking Twilight Princess' availability as an example.
I've ended up with three copies - the US Master Edition, European Limited Edition and a Wii U copy.

Interesting story behind it! So I went to GameStop earlier today just to look around when I noticed this out of nowhere in the Wii aisle. First of all I had absolutely no idea that there was Dragon's Lair Trilogy collection for the Wii so it immediately grabbed my attention. Second, I was surprised at the price being higher than I thought it would be. I wanted to buy it but decided to check ebay to see the prices there. It ranged from 50 to 75! Best part is the employee gave me a discount so at the end I played 18 dollars for it! Came with the manual and the disc was in near perfect condition. I'll finally get a chance to try this series.

This is cool. I had no idea it even existed. I remember trying Dragon's Lair at a seaside arcade in the 80s as a kid. I thought it looked great, but I didn't understand how to play it.

The box is the switch. My daughter didn't know all day and thought it was a package for my wife. Waited till my wife was home from work to open it. She talked all day about the switch and 1 2 switch that we picked up that day too. Man that game sucks even she doesn't dig it much.
Amiibo that we got recent. It's nuts how much these things dump into zelda when playing.
Got Boo for $4 at walmart - same with pixel zelda. They are on clearance. The case was with a ton of accessories on launch day. Decent case still haven't used it.

Picked up a couple of games to round out my Wii collection! Real happy with these, especially Tatsunoko vs Capcom. Been looking for it for a while and got a great price on it.

Finally got my Powerpak. Took about a week, but I guess that's alright because they make them on order? I think? I only have like... half-a-dozen games on it because I don't have many NES games. I still need to figure out how to take apart my Famicom games so I can rip those and put them on there too. I found a translation patch for Labyrinth, but I still don't think the game is any good. It'll just be nice to understand more of what's going on. At least the music is great.
Got the original Castlevania, it was the only NES Castlevania I didn't have. It's probably my second favorite game in the series (after Aria of Sorrow). I still can't beat Dracula in his final form though.
I've never played X-men Origins: Wolverine before. Only the demo, and it didn't really sell me on the game. I only bought it because it constantly gets some love from GAF and I think it might be a short game, so maybe I'll end up actually playing it (unlike Nier. I haven't even booted that game up yet).
I need to read more, I spend too much time playing video games nowadays. So I bought a book, a book about a video game. Er... the people behind a video game, whatever... I think I'll start it tonight as I lay down before I go to sleep. I paid extra for this old copy because it was a hardcover. I felt like a dork for that. This reminds me that I want to replace my Kindle with a newer one that has one of those lights and a bigger screen. When I finally do get a new Kindle though, it'll have to have the 3G and it'll have to not have the special offer ads. (sorry, I kinda started rambling there)

Not including the ones I've already ordered and paid for, I only need5 nope! four more to complete the set (I probably should've just bought them all at once. I think I saw a set on ebay for like 2 or 3 hundred dollars. Might be misremembering that. Would've saved some money that way.). I'm glad that all the books I've gotten still have the posters still in them. I'm not going to take them out and put them up or anything, I just like that they're in there.

These came in today, and I was kinda surprised they actually showed up. I ordered them from Japan almost a month and a half ago, and I had just written them off in my mind and planned on trying again and buying them from maybe a different seller (which was disappointing because I've already ordered 3 more books from this dude).

I love Don Bluth's animation style so much. I think Space Ace is my favorite on the disk, but the Dragon's Lair games are fun too. Definitely a nice addition to any Wii collection (and every other system the games are available on)

Picked up Horizon Zero Dawn, Nier Automata, some Prime elevation speakers but these were the larger of the purchases.
The boxes for the speakers got beat to hell man, my dealer had to reject the first center channel because it got damaged, they then overnighted the 2nd one. Midnight Cherry Prestige series is pretty nice. I'm happy with them

Yeah thought that too, but like that cover art so much more.
I'm sure I seen a version with the PS4 banner on top too.
Wish all reversible covers would just keep the banner on the front cover and spine.

My old screen was a Samsung SyncMaster 19" 1440x900. Not only is this a jump in resolution, but also a pretty massive one in terms of screen size. I feel like I'm in Star Trek. I played a bit of Witcher 3, and it's crazy how much the aspect ratio change helps you feel immersed in the game. Movies look great too.
There are some oddities. Web browsing is weird and it's best to have the page take up half the screen, and have something else on the other side as most webpages and programs don't know what to do with the extra screen real state.
Totally worth it if you're looking for a new experience.

I've been itching to own an original PSP again so I grabbed this PSP 1000 from a local pawn shop for pretty cheap.
I opted for the 1000 since I don't really care about the screen ghosting, and the ergonomics of this one was more appealing.

Definitely not great, but I don't think it's as bad as people claim. I enjoyed it well enough to finish it on Normal and almost complete it on hard. Something interrupted my 2nd playthrough and like I said, it's not great.

This. I got 2 copies (WiiU, X1) both for like $6 each. Played it and was fun. hell even at $15-$20 it still felt like a solid "Arcade" 360 era game.

Man, I've wanted to buy another one of these for a while now just to play Earthworm Jim like I used to when I was younger. I have the HD version, but I really like the game on Genesis, and I think the music was better. I think I want to play Road Rash 2 again too.

costed me a little more than $61...
but 64 gigas are still super expensive >_< woulda set me back around $90.
Not a bad deal, thats the reason I gave up on vita a long time ago. Memory cards should not cost that much.

I got my 64GB memory card from Yodobashi for 8810 yen back in early 2015. At the time that was ~65. Now it would be around 72. So the $90 price tag kind of surprises me tbh.

It's been an expensive month, so it's time to cool it with the games for a while I also picked up VOEZ, Othello and Master Blaster 0 on the switch. Picked up the guide for Breath Of The Wild too, since i wanted a map of all the shrines. Pre-ordered some games on psn because they have the spend 50 get 10 back deal going.

I will keep him in the box for now until I get the rest of the brothers whenever they come out later this year.

I bought this game from gamestop for 10 a year ago but returned it because it was extremely hard. I regretted it ever since.
And today i found a store 16 miles away that carries it and put a hold request. Hopefully they have it
