COMICS!!! |OT| March Harley Quinn does the Banana Splits

I look forward to Miles barely being in the Peter/Miles book or end up somehow not being about him at all. That seems to be the current trend for him.

It's running from July through September, that's 13 wednesdays. Considering how reactionary Marvel have been since Rebirth, I'm assuming it's gonna be more than one-shots. My guess is bi-weekly 6-part minis, or 6 issues as part of the regular run. The fact there's no talent announced outside of writers indicates they're probably rushing the art part of it.

The abc article is a little vague with the way they've presented the article, but it's a 10 issue series, an issue to each pair (as I understand it).

I honestly feel like Marvel at this point need some new management.

Whoever is in charge over there these days doesn't seem to have a clue what they are doing.
New blood is needed and desperately.

People said the same thing about Didio and Lee at DC. What they need is some goddamn humility. Just shut up, listen, and maybe don't make Steve Rogers a goddamn nazi.

Oh so it's basically a glorified anthology. Glad i wasn't the only one a bit confused

Pretty much. Since it's the writers of those runs anyway, it's not really too objectionable, it's just not any sort of big deal or excitement. They probably hope that whatever reason they've come up with to have the dead characters appear for an issue will garner some media but otherwise it's just a thing.

Since the Thor teaser image is very much the old classic Odinson it's obviously just going to be some sort of time reality overlap funny business.

What are your favorite ongoing Image comics? I think I'm reading all the greats, but I am curious if I'm missing anything.

I know its not ongoing anymore, but go back and read Chew if you have't.
Its probably one of the best things Image has ever put out.
And its also genuinely funny. There aren't many funny comics.

Why? What's the point? Honestly, what's the point?

I think the point really is just what it seems like on face value. Show the value in the new iterations via the older iterations and vice versa. It's not some big deal (I honestly have no opinion on whether they intend it to be one, I haven't really been following the generations teasing) but as it is, it's a fine idea for a miniseries. If you're reaidng one of those series and enjoying one of those writers, I'm not sure why you wouldn't want to read an extra issue by them.

In all the times I have read The Killing Joke it never even occurred to me that Batman might be strangling the Joker at the end.

I never even heard that theory until years later online.
And to be honest I find it kinda dumb. It doesn't really fit.

He didnt. He used the needle with the Joker venom with wich he was attacked when he went against Joker.
But I agree that I never had that thought, too

What? That's an even weirder theory. There is nothing to suggest Batman hangs on to that thing after he kicks it away.
The theory I always heard is when they are both laughing at the end and Batman has his hands on the Joker's shoulders for one panel he is actually strangling him.

i'm glad i gave up Marvel for my true love

Valiant

amirite guys

I have actually liked what Valiant is putting out, just wish they'd stop with the mini to mini to mini thing with some of their series. I somehow stupidly missed out on the first couple issues of Bloodshot USA because I was thinking it was something different. Same thing with the Divinity 3 follow up.

Disclaimer: I was stupid in not realizing it, but still...
