compared to their budgets they didn't make that much. with the amount of promo they have to do on top of the budget, and the fact that overseas the studio makes back half, who knows how much profit they made

Lol at people who complain about her not looking "Lara Croft" enough. Virtually no one looks like Lara Craft, she is the very definition of male wish fulfillment. Massive breasts, tiny waist, full lips, and a tall figure... Women like that exist but they aren't exactly plentiful.

Yeah, "daddy issues" always sounds way too dismissive. Lots of great characters have daddy/mommy issues, it all depends on the execution. (which admittedly wasn't all that great in the new Tomb Raider games)

It's Tomb Raider 2013. They could have done the entire thing in one setting. Apparently they're going to show some of her home life in this but I doubt they'll spend much time on it.
I'm 99.9% sure I know who that guy in the still is, too.

Looks low budget at first glance.
I think she needs to work out and beef up a little. Maybe gain 5 pounds of muscle. She does not look like someone who can climb and do crazy shit that Laura Croft does.
