Alicia Vikander is nice, but I'm still not sure about this casting. She doesn't look like the Lara from TR2013. Oh well. I would have to see her actually act to come to any sort of real conclusion.

She's an attractive european brunette. What else do you need to nail with Lara? It's based off the rebooted version of the character, and they seem to have nailed that look.

I'm also fairly sure that Vikander is a more talented actress than a lot of the alternative suggestions that'll probably pop up in this thread.

She's an Oscar-winning actress that already has been doing steady and critically acclaimed work, and she's going out with Michael Fassbender. She'll continue to be fine, even if this turns out to be yet another video game movie.
