He hasn't answered my question yet if he has finished endings A-E. Both Jason, Jeff and Alex seems to like it but none of them have spoken that much about the game aside from saying it's good on various occassions. (They did have a QL and a playdate but both were really early in route A)

I hope when Brad has picked it up and played it they can have some discussions on the bombcast.

Battlegrounds is pretty cool, but it definitely still has a lot of early access jank going on. I died last time because when I hopped out of the buggy I was in, it said I ran myself over.

I highly doubt it unfortunately (haven't played it yet but the way people talk about it, the other endings is where the action is). But they liked it enough to play through once to completion, which is more than I expected of Jeff at least

Ran out of shiny distractions in Zelda and finally went and beat the game. 117 shrines, 135 hours, 47% map "completion." Wish the ending were a bit longer, but man, what a fucking game.

I started Persona earlier in the week and played a few hours, but it didn't really grab me yet (kind of surprising as 3 and 4 are two of my favorite games), and I just don't know if I have the heart or the free time for another 100 hour game right now lol. Maybe I should try Nier or something. (Or spend my free time, like, reading, writing, looking for a new job, breathing outside air, etc)

Watching random quicklooks and ended up on the General Knoxx dlc for the first Borderlands...

As much as I don't like Gearbox... I really miss Borderlands.

I actually liked all three of them, even the pre-sequel.

I never did the DLC for the second one but I doubt I have a high enough character...

I wonder how good/bad the first game aged on PC. I know it was using Gamespy?

A lot of people seem to harp on the game nowadays but playing Borderlands 2 with a couple college friends was probably the most fun gaming experience of that console generation for me.

Yeah BL2 is still my most played game on Steam.... I might have played a bit more BL1 but I split my time between 360 and PC so I don't have a cumulative time.

i mean one of my most fun gaming experiences was playing blast champer with a couple friends

and that game is horribly reviewed

It was tempting, but I have no idea where they are and I didn't want to resort to looking it up online. I got the season pass, so I figure I'll jump back in and find those once the DLC comes out.

Also, obviously trying to take advantage of the fact that Fate of the Furious is out around the same time, by using the same font and a cheesy slogan. Worst kind of marketing. Though, I do think that tactic did well enough for Austin Powers 2 in 1999, when they had a trailer making you think you were seeing Episode I trailer before pulling the rug out from under you.

I put 10 hours into Persona 5 today. I don't think I've done that since some WoW addiction years ago.

This game's preeeeeetty okay.

Going by my vague, likely incorrect assertion that Charlie Tunoku is a shoutout to Chali 2na, I continued that trend by calling my MC Nate Biyaiji.

Yeahhh thats not jank, it's intentional. You shouldn't be able to just hop out of a car at high speeds and go about you're business. H1z1 allowed you to just hop out and instantly return fire which was extremely cheesy.

You can survive if you're going the right speed, but it chunks your health.
