Question about the Kawakami Social Link

Do your answers at the end of Rank 9 lock you into romance or a specific scene for Rank 10? I got a prompt saying that I should "think about what I'm saying" but I gave her committal responses for the hell of it since I can just reload the save if something goes wrong.

Committing occurs during Rank 9. Rank 10 is typically the "oh wow we're in a relationship now" scene.

Outside of fluff, any mechanical reason to go out with a maxed romanced social link? Like, is there RNG for receiving gifts or anything?

romance is kind of boring. I wanted explicit kink, game. Not this fluff.

If she's available she should have the card icon above her head like normal. Then when you say you want to hang out with her it should give an option to either take her somewhere or back home afterwards.

I know that Takemi is only available to hang out with certain days of the week so that might be the issue.

I've spent 3 evenings with her after maxing out her social link, but still haven't seen that option. Weird.

Hate that I only got one opportunity of control during the school trip so I couldn't save/reload hanging out with characters who invited me. No idea whether to go with Makoto, Hifumi or the bro squad

Tae is available in the evening on weekdays after you max her out and romance her. She goes from day exclusive to night exclusive. You go on the best dates with her. Highly recommend the Ferris Wheel date. So mushy and feel good. One of my best memories of our time together in game.

I just spent another evening with her and still didn't get any option to go out on a date. I definitely choose the "I love you" option at the end of her S-link, so I don't know why I can't date her.

Also, I didn't get the trophy for entering in a special relationship with a character when I maxed her S-link.

When you say I love you to her, she asks a follow up question. Did you stick with it, or did you take it back?

Also, if you haven't maxed her S Link yet, you might still be good. After nine, I hung out with her one time at night and that solidified it.

Ugh I'm pretty sure I've reached the cutoff point for ranking up Confidants and I've got so many sitting between 7-9. I really should've prioritized some of the links better, but at least I won't have to feel like a jerk for turning people down since I never actually got to that stage with most of the characters. Bleh. I don't know if I have the energy for a NG+, how much faster is it to play through?

Also, post-Palace #6:
I was immediately suspicious of Goro from the beginning of the game just due to how aggressively beige his character design is, lol. It was a bigger tipoff than the pancake comment. Like I'm sure they wanted him to appear non-threatening but I think they overplayed their hand, because jeez. So very beige.

I pray for your sake that you said you meant it when she questions you. It was fairly obvious which answers to go for to get the romance. Though you should be fine even if you didn't say
"It wasn't a joke"

She sometimes does one-shots and fan art of games she currently plays but Gigi is almost purely committed to her ongoing original comic now and she doesn't look back on the Hiimdaisy comics with the fondest of memories, so probably not very likely.

One thing I do appreciate is that all the girls and guys have different frames and proportions. They didn't laze out and just use the same model and slap different heads on them like a lot of other games.

I think that's what you're supposed to say. Did you get her to rank 10 yet? When you can hang out with her, is it during the day or at night?

I feel like i am getting close to the end of the game. I have never played a persona game before, and at the beginning i felt overwhelmed. I did not follow any guides, just played at my own pace, and so far i really enjoy what i experienced. I don't own a vita or a ps3, so is there any other way to try out the other persona games?
