Supersonic, idiotic, disconnecting, not respecting, who would really ever wanna go and top that
#1. Not sitting on the bed in "city pants" is totally something I got yelled at for once
#2. They got a Millennial Curb thing going on here.
#3. I bet you $100M that within the next two years this gets picked up as a full series by Comedy Central or ummmm maybe HBO.

First episode was good! I'm obviously getting old because it's hard for me to tolerate these youngsters' vocal inflections and mannerisms... search party was the same way, but I still loved it.

her voice is unfortunate, not really funny sounding, nor endearing.

i don't like talking to people through texting, but i'd make an exception for her

Watched the first episode. Didn't like it.
I love Curb and Seinfeld. Thought this was....nothing. Self-indulgent is a word that comes to my mind; I'm reminded of high school kids making videos that they think are hilarious and on-point but really they are only pandering to themselves

I'm 24 and it's like I'm watching a different reality, I don't understand 95% of this. She's exactly like Larry though with the comedic timing.

All of this. Also she's just ripping off Daria except this probably would've made Daria barf.

Daria? Cause she's sarcastic? Daria is way more absurdist in tone and the character is a misanthrope. All these shorts together only equal about 1 episode of a comedy but they're going for a more neurotic character who is a bit depressed.

Also, Daria was confrontational about how ridiculous modern culture is/was. This is more of a "well this is all weird, but what can I do with it?" thing.

Or maybe you're just talking about her voice? *shrug*

I remember this from a few years ago, it cracked me up

Larry was trying to get her interested in American history but she was having none of it

good credit (by proxy)
I don't get the joke with what she yelled at the end of the 4th episode. I feel like the joke must be super obvious but I'm not understanding it.

She said fake news. As in trump shouting about everything that's bad towards him is fake news. It was just a little topical humor.

Full disclosure my girlfriend went to high school with the co-creator and they were pretty tight. She's always told me how funny the girl was and the word in interviews so far has been that she's as much responsible for the writing as Cazzie is. Also I love these. They're a little unrefined but she's off to a good start. Interesting fact: they funded and made these entirely on their own. Larry contributed no money into them at all

Yeah this is really good. I completely agree that you can tell she's going to be a big name in a couple of years.

The people in here complaining it's a bunch of young people making something or that she's rich and posts on instagram are weird. This stuff shows talent.

Was watching it and she confessed of as trying too hard to imitate her father. Now she could just be like that and I am being unfair. Still after watching all for I was feeling "so-so" on it all but still subscribed.

Episode 3 was really good though. Like straight fire and that ending was perfect and where it needed to end up!

I don't think this is for me.

I don't know if it's deliberate but it seems like its trying to be too much of a parody of millennial stereotyping.

Most people I know don't obsess over social media this much and it's just not particularly relate able.

This - I genuinely can't tell what part of it was supposed to be funny.

Some funny bits in the first episode but it felt too much like she was doing millenial Curb. She definitely has comedic talent though if she wrote and directed that.

does not compute. this would be a netflix/hulu/amazon original show. considering amazon's existing relationship with hbo, i'd lean towards them.

How the heck do you get a cactus to grow in such a narrow vase?

Real good thanks for the link. Fell into that city pants trap before. Had no idea people take their beds so seriously.

This feels like Larry David playing a millennial woman in NYC, but still kind of funny. I enjoy the awkward silences.
