E3 hype level check!

So the gamers Christmas is a little over a month away and I'm hyped as hell. I even had a dream about it last which I have never had before. So I want to know before leaks start habbening just how hyped you are in general?

Me I have never been more hyped for a E3. Unexpectedly though I'm least hyped for microsofts conference even tho I'm a huge Xbox fan boy. They just don't have a lot of games in the pipeline, but with the Scorpio reveal they can sure as hell surprise me :)

The. Nindentos I'm more excited for then I have ever been in years. I bought the switch after Zelda got those incredible reviews and I have loved it, but what's next. I want some big game announcements and I want to see that Mario game. Plus please give me virtual console on the go :)

Then last we have sweet Sony. My god have they turned me with just how stellar there line up looks. I don't even care if they announce any new games I just want to see more of their lineup, exspecially god of war and spider man :). The one thing I'm really hoping for tho is some PSVR announcements. After RE7 and the soon to release farpoint what else is there?

Overall I got my days schedules off work and I'm going to have my blunts ready, so this E3 is going to be fanfuckingtastic :)

How hyped are you GAF?

Hype level is currently clocked at Over 9000.

Pumped for switch news. Also maybe Scorpio

E3 hyper train. Also looking forward to podcast predictions.

Will we be able to top the legendary Sony conference?

Really hyped. Feels like the generation started when Uncharted 4 came out, then Gears 4, TLOU2 announcement, Crash, God of War, Zelda, Mario, RDR2. Amazing stuff coming out now. Can't wait!

My excitement usually comes in at full force a couple weeks before the event. Right when it's close and GAF is filled with rumor threads and 'leaks'. So much fun.

Though thinking about Sony's conference right now is making me giddy.

It's hitting me less than two months away. All I need is kh3 news,Spider-Man gameplay trailer, days gone trailer ,dreams release date and the entire e3 weekend will be 10/10 everything else is icing

As I am every year, I am estatic- E3 is the time for announcements, cool trailers, and a ton of positivity from the community around me. This year is gonna be super good, and I cannot wait.

Optimistic, but not hyped just yet.

I'm mainly interested in MvCI, SFV DLC, Spider-Man PS4, possibly DMC5, & whatever Nintendo has planned for the Switch.

Hyped for a good few game related things, couldn't care less about the hardware side of things.

I want first peeks at Resident Evil 2 Remake, maybe Cyberpunk (lol), maybe some RDR2, and a bit more about Shenmue 3 and FFVII Remake.

Scorpio and the tech race? Meh

My hype for E3 this year is DMC5/10.

It's 10/10 if the game is there....0/10 if it's not there.

So god damn all in on DMC5. I have waited too long.

Pretty hyped. While I am excited about what Sony and Nintendo will show, MS having new hardware and they need to impress is what I am looking forward too the most. I was looking at my calendar today and thinking that we are about 6 weeks away, which is not that long. Already have Sunday planned out...going out to brunch with my wife, then home by 1pm to watch any pre-MS conference stuff and then the big show.

Since I moved early this year, where we live they don't have Spike, so hoping that any streams are of very good/reliable so that I don't have any issues watching the presser and after show stuff.

Kinda hyped but levels will be near 9000 by early June.

All big 3 got something to show this time around.

Switch killing it out of gate and 3rd party will be key.

PS may push VR even more.

MS with Scorpio needs home run.

Crazy time to be alive.

I'm excited for some new titles!!!! I would love to see Dying Light 2, Evil Within 2, or Elder Scrolls 6 get announced.
Hype levels will reach max for Sony's show

Not really sure what to look forward to on my PS4. Earlier this year I was enjoying the hell out of RE7 and Nioh; Yakuza Zero was also fun, albeit repetitious after a while. I picked up Nier Automata but haven't played it yet since I'm still playing Zelda (210+ hours and counting!). Not sure what there is to look forward to on that front the rest of the year, so E3 will be important for Sony.

But yeah, this year it's all about Nintendo. I expect their E3 will give a major push for ARMS (which simply looks fantastic, and is super-addictive according to those who played it) and Splatoon 2. We'll see more of Super Mario Odyssey — probably the only game that will compete with Zelda for the highest meta-critic score this year — and Xenoblade Chronicles 2, a.k.a. sequel to one of the best JRPGs ever. Oh, and we'll see Fire Emblem Warriors, from the people who made the superb Hyrule Warriors.

I think it's highly likely the rumored Pokemon Stars and Super Smash Bros for Nintendo Switch are also real. Those would be two killer holiday titles right there. The Mario Rabbids game is also likely real (in a Ubisoft video declaring support for Switch, there were Rabbids statues dressed as Mario characters on the shelves in the background!), and I'm eager to see it.

My question is, are we expecting a Pikmin 4? People seem divided on whether the Pikmin game Miyamoto mentioned nearing completion is just Pikmin 3DS (now called Hey! Pikmin) or a mainline Pikmin game. Also, according to the thread here on Nintendo's first-party studios, the Animal Crossing team is working on "Animal Crossing projects" (how vague!), so I'm guessing a Switch title is in the cards and might be ready to show.

Oh, and what is Retro Studios making? We haven't seen anything from them since Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze. Part of me hopes it's a new METROID game. When asked about Metroid earlier this year, Reggie did say to ask him again later this year. He said the same thing about localizing Mother 3. Hmm... That would make a cool E3 surprise.

Maybe they'll also show the DLC for Zelda. Probably not the story DLC that's coming later in the year around GotY voting season, but at least the first round of DLC with the hard mode, Cave of Trials, etc. Also a chance for them to showcase the in-game functionality for the three new Zelda amiibo. I can see them plugging those on Treehouse Live.

Treehouse Live is easily the best E3 coverage around. Looking forward to it. Also hoping there will be another pre-E3 event like the Smash Invitational or Nintendo World Championship. Imagine if they did another NWC focused on the Switch, with Zelda "any %" speed runs, battles in Mario Kart Deluxe, 2v2 in ARMS, Turf Wars in Splatoon 2, etc.

It's gonna be good.

Im planning to take the day off of work for the Sony conference but there is no date scheduled yet. Does anyone know if there is a day/time rumored?

Not that high but that is probably because I've been playing many games I enjoyed thoroughly back to back this year. It kind of eliminates the need of hyping myself for the future when the present is already awesome.
