Grindy, not at all, fetch questy yeah a bit. The game's main quest and daily roulletes will get you to level cap mostly painlessly, but you'll have to play errand boy from time to time.
So when I was going through the main story for HW back in the day, I left some lower level quests undone to do on alt jobs since I was overleveled on SMN for them.
Well, I decided to tackle some of them yesterday for MCH thinking there were only a few.
Damn. I haven't seen my map throw up quest markers like that in a long time. Three hours in Western Coerthas later and I finished them all up.
Damn I am going to miss Ishgarde and that music.

Mind of mixed on the glow, might buy the replica of the step down to glam. Still love the look of it though. Way better than that fugly final anima for Bard.
Nah, IMO this one looks too basic. The bard anima looks really cool even if it is super anime and I'd gladly take it over this one. Just my opinion of course but the Old relics usually destroy the animas, just not the case with this one for me. I've only done one ARR relic and that was for my main blm at the time. Lilith rod is amazing and I've glammed it over Kaladanda lux now.

Only bard hat worth wearing is Amon's hat. I decided to wear glasses myself to really embrace my pretentious Ishgardian giraffe side.

You must be on of those new gen hipster Bards who like to pretend to look the part without going all the way. Back in my day you weren't consider a Bard if you were not wearing a Bard hat because at that point you might as well be an Archer with an Harp.

With the Primal and Aether servers moving on May 15 does that mean we'll all be able to do cross server party finder?
No; there's essentially no functional changes to how the servers interact, it's just changing the physical server locations which will have some impact to latency and hopefully end Level3's periodic ruining of all our lives.

I'm trying to step my game up with Bard. Been looking up and trying different openers and watching some YouTube videos on maxing dps. Prior to looking at videos, I went to try to down the A12s training dummy. I did it with about 6 seconds left (ilvl 265). Just wanting to get better just cause.
On another note, I really hope the upcoming live letter delves into detail about Stormblood and not just reiterating stuff we already know. Give me some new job actions or battle system overhaul information.

It'll be a shitty Q&A like at Pax I am sure.
The original notification for the Live Letter explicitly said no battle system stuff will be in it, wait until another one in May. And given how inaccurate the community sourced google doc ended up being leading in to HW, get hype for everyone having to figure everything out from tooltips on day 1.

Even people with physical handicaps can make for great archers.
I remember that.
Put a buff on an ally so when they die you get hp and mana.
Your own DoTs not showing up on the target even if they're applied because there's a hardcap on how many DoTs can be displayed despite having other DoTs turned off is such a massive problem I can't believe it hasn't been fixed.

I downloaded the game again, the last time I played was during my first month with the game when it released. I have a level 50 Paladin and I'm completely lost. Not sure what quests I should be doing. I had finished the game's base storyline I guess? I also did the level 50 Paladin quest. Not sure where to go from there.
Both jobs are perfectly fine.
New DRKs getting overwhelmed by their many buttons can appear squishy when they forget to use their defensive CDs or can't manage Darkside.
Yeah, I must just be too used to Warrior.
