The only realistic comment I've seen.Either DMC5 or REmake 2.
You guys saying you know what major unannounced title it is but I honestly can't think of one. Deep Down turning into DMC?
only 2mil for mvc4?
that's strangely lowball for capcom
wonder if they're adjusting sf5 fatigue or what
The only realistic comment I've seen.
Question, what the hell is going on with REmake 2. How long ago was that announced?
Either DMC5 or REmake 2.
Pro-tip: They expect to ship 2.75 million copies of video games in Japan this year, yet Marvel and Resident Evil 7 will ship about zero.
I think you would have to guess a Monster Hunter title at the extreme end of March?
Clearly Onimusha.
Better be god damn dmc5
REmake 2, does that count as unannounced?
only 2mil for mvc4?

They said MAJOR title. So it's going to be Mega Man
No, but seriously, it's going to be MH. And probably 3DS/Switch with cross-play between them like MH3U
And I'm going to say that MVC:I misses it's initial sales target (100k-200k off), but gets there eventually. Retailers are going to be hesitant to pull the trigger on copies after the sales bargain bin that was SFV from Capcom. I think the community dies quickly since it'll be deemed "too slow" and Capcom releases a UMVC:I refresh a year later.
This rumour?Give me that heavily rumored Monster hunter 5 on PS4!!
2m per title? Why not just make a Nintendo v Capcom fighter for 3DS and Switch if they want some serious sales? Based on Smash and Pokken, it would do great numbers.
Sorry what? Pokken and Smash are both based on Nintendo's top brands, why would anyone who owns a Switch give a shit about Capcom characters?
DMC5 with Uncle Dante. Developer is Ninja Theory and they purposely sabotage it to finish the series for good.
It's never too early to start being consistently wrong about another Capcom Fighter, eh?
Really not sure if you're serious.
Too bad for you that I was right about, and continue to be right about SF5 being a failure. But hey, enjoy your $25 overpriced DLC because Capcom needs the money to improve Ken's face.
I'm seriously asking if you think a Switch exclusive Capcom fighting game would sell 2+ million?
A Tatsunoko Vs. Capcom Switch port would get close to 2 mil.I'm seriously asking if you think a Switch exclusive Capcom fighting game would sell 2+ million?

Some of ya'll really trying to kill this DMC5 hype. Why??? LOL!!!
A Tatsunoko Vs. Capcom Switch port would get close to 2 mil.
Guys, there's only 1 IP that Capcom has that can sell like 2.5million in Japan alone in such a small amount of time...
It's Monster Hunter and it's multiplat. Either 3DS+Switch or Switch+PS4.

Or a HD port of MHXX for switch.
like some analyst said
guess the announcement will occur near TGS
Two million for MvCI seems possible. Though when do they expect that? First month? 3 momths?
For SFV they expected that in 2 months, didn't and even a year later is at 1.6.
So 2 million in 2 months seems doable, considering the IPs involved. If it's like day one or first month...well..
They're expecting whatever title it is to ship over 2m units in Japan, that's not either the games you mention.
Marvel Vs. Capcom has more hype than SF and SFV still sold a bit over 1 mil. So yeah 500K-700k is actually lowballing.MVC looks like a budget game. I think even at 500k -700k sold imo will allow Capcom to break even. Imo it's gonna be tough to reach 2 mil. Capcom is hated by most casual buyers. They still have the "I will wait for ultra edition" mindset and SFV neglecting them is not going to help either.
Where do we get this notion? I see nothing in this presentation that suggests that or what Nirolak suggested.
If SFV released on X1 it would have been a lot closer to its mark. MVCI is on the 3 major platforms.
