Which is going to be THE biggest? (Sales wise)

Extra question: which is going to be the best one in your opinion? (Quality wise)

Call of Duty, Destiny, Battlefront.

Call of Duty still has an insane following. Not much reason to believe that Destiny's audience will double with the release of a sequel. Hitting the PC audience will help though.

Battlefront, it's hard to say, could be great, but they could easily fuck it up. The first installment was an alright game, but not brilliant so it doens't have as large as of a fan following as the other two because of that, so it'll need amazing reviews to compete.

Sales wise? Call of Duty, easily. Infinite Warfare got shat on and it still was the best selling game of 2016, this time around the reception to new CoD is much better which will only help.

Battlefront 1 did around 14 million and Call of Duty traditionally does 20-25 million.

Destiny would need a strong overperform to beat Call of Duty, at least up front, or Call of Duty would need to fail to recover.

CoD>Destiny>Battlefront in terms of sales

Quality is hard to gauge. Personally Destiny 2 will probably be the strongest but all I have high expectations for.

Nothing can beat Call of Duty. CoD beat BF1 after last year's backlash and BF1's positive coverage. That proves that CoD is unbeatable.

This one is getting fairly positive ratings on youtube.

Destiny 2 will be bigger than Battlefront though. you will hear more about it because its a game geared at core gamers. casuals mostly stick to cod.

I think it all depends on how the audience who has been playing Call of Duty in the post-Black Ops era of red dot sights and mobility options reacts to going back to WW2 and the gameplay implications that come with that.

COD is still king.

I thought last year would be the time Battlefield finally had a open goal to outsell COD but it still didnt happen.


Battlefront and Destiny have a lot of users to win back after disappointing debuts so thats gonna be a challenge for them.


Even though COD isnt what it once was I think GAF and the gaming media has been a little out of touch with how healthy that brand is. By the accounts of some its on its way out but when I look at sales threads Its still the biggest game every single year.

Most likely Destiny 2. I see the marketing push for that being pretty substantial. I already like what they're doing in that regard (Nathan Fillion etc). CoDs will get a huge marketing boost too as per usual, but I just feel like the biggest buzz and reception will be around Destiny 2.

Destiny, CoD then Battlefront but it will be close.

Some may be holding off on D2, just because of the D1 hype bollocks at launch but the userbase will probably migrate if the game is solid.

Going to say Destiny 2, my friends all loved COD and last year one of them got an X1 with Destiny. Over the course of months they all bought X1’s and Destiny. They don’t read GAF or care that much about games press.

Destiny has a PC version now. If they do right by that version then it could easily push Destiny 2 into the lead. While the other two will have PC versions CoD is pretty much dead on PC. Battlefront 2 has the the impression Battlefront 1 left on people. So it has a uphill climb. Destiny 2 has the new hotness aura about it that could allow it to do well assuming care is put into the PC version and it isn't an afterthought.

People really think Destiny will beat CoD in sales?

CoD WWII>Battlefront 2>Destiny 2

and I can't say I'm interested in any of them :/

Unless they royally fuck up the multiplayer, COD will likely be the top seller. Battlefront II will likely be the second best seller but have the highest quality.
