There are millions of whiny 5-year olds on Earth, and I AM THEIR KING.

Meh, Coachella was shit this year for normal attendees (organization, accommodations, etc, not sets). I was just there.

The guy who made the trump hold my beer tweet nathan Martin in that article is right wing nut job that's from around my home town. He's so excited to have his first national tweet. His post about it on Facebook showed up in my feed then I checked out his Facebook page and it's full of anti trans and right wing bullshit.

Here his twitter https://twitter.com/NathanMartin

I love that people think the ball pit shop is real cuz they don't get the reference.

Whys everyone so bitter about "rich kids" on GAF? Seems pretty pathetic.

I find the whole situation fucking hilarious but not because some rich kids lost some money. If that makes you feel good, then you're just a bit of a cunt. I don't feel sorry for them since no one got hurt, but the reasons I'm getting a kick from this is not because some rich people got scammed.

I agree with you, but I am used to these type of comments on GAF. I guess it makes them feel better with their ''moral'' way of living or something.

On topic, I just fin it comical that these festival turned out as it did, considering the price tag attached to it.

Some of them apparently got their shit stolen though. I don't care if you're rich or not, still much suck to have your stuff stolen during an event you expected to have fun at.

Anyone paying $500 and up to attend an event headlined by Blink 182 in 2017 deserve to be mocked, treated to a strugglewich and placed into a refugee tent

it's pretty petty

it's pretty damn funny though, like why would you trust Ja Rule and the thought of some amazing resort in a deserted island

I'd go see Blink 182 in 2017. Dudes were apart of my childhood, bring back a lot of good memories when I hear them. Also $500 flights included to the Bahamas, with a accommodation too a music festival is a fucking amazing deal. To amazing as it turns out.

There's so much comedy gold in all of this, but I don't find any of it in people getting ripped off, no matter how rich or poor. Like I said before, I don't really feel sorry for anyone here but it's not the source of my enjoyment like it seems to be for many in this thread.

There's the fucking tents, the food, all the tweets, the memes & that golden article from the inside. That shits funny. But "rich kids get scammed" seems to be the comedy for some here.

Exactly, like at least here in Finland big, three day festival tickets cost about 140 euros. Then you have to pay place for your tent and also food. So if you get flights to Bahamas, see artists perform, get accommodation and food, 500 isn't that much. In this case nothing went as expected though.

I don't get it, if you're going to spend that kind of money to go to a festival why not go to an established one like TomorrowLand or something. At least you'll be assured of getting your luxury accommodations.

the sandwich thing is hilarious. if someone gave it to me right now i would eat it, that looks like a perfectly fine sandwich. not the best but it's in a styrofoam container, what do you want. the fact that someone thinks this sorta half assed but honestly pretty normal sandwich is beneath them is hilarious and is some "rich people are not real people" territory.

It is beneath you if you were told you were getting a "luxury meal catered by a top Chef"

How about you read the thread and news and not just check the memes?

People were promised luxury food. Not a struggle-strugglewich.

A bunch of dumb rich fucks scammed out of their parent's money by a hack fraud "artist" and his entourage of disorganised morons, stranded on an island and robbed of their valuables, living in disaster relief tents and eating plastic cheese, lured under the guise of a basic bitch Bahaman dance adventure.

This is the best unintentional living art installation ever.

Post reeks of classism.

Dude I can go to Coachella, Austin City Limits, Governor's Ball, etc. and get actual gourmet food for a fraction of the cost. They promised and didn't deliver. When you've been outside in extreme heat all day, I don't think a struggle sandwich with undressed salad is going to cut it.

Wait a.sec. Tickets were only 500 dollars? That's it? Why the fuck would anyone think only "rich kids" could afford it? It's like the cost of a launch console and game.

Rest

All these years later I still chuckle at what a fucking moron that guy is.
Holy shit, one of the best gaf threads in a long while. Strugglewich, refugee tents, GAF shops used in news reporting, legendary.
Fucking what? Where? When? I MUST SEE THIS!

I'm pretty sure that the 'early bird' tickets were likely sold when no artists were signed, which would be part of the reason the tickets were cheap.
