Yeah, for sure. I bought the standard for 60 and there are no regrets for me. Loved the first game and I loved MKX before the whole PC issues.

Gonna be passing on the ultimate edition myself sadly. A bit too expensive here and not sure I'll stick with the game outside the story mode and some casual play. Interested to see who will be added though. Might jump if/when Manta joins and he looks fun though.

One thing I hate about how Superman is depicted in Injustice is that they never show any growth to his fighting skills, You'd think a guy that's been fighting Batman for years would train more in basic fighting techniques yet they always have him as just this Brawler style.

To quote Wolfgang Krauser- "I saw that little fight you had, you are good.. but could improve. Your technique is sloppy, and had you used your legs.. you would have been more effective."

Every time in the comic when they Put Superman on the same level as his Opponent he got his ass handed to him, Every time. Is Supes really just his powers and nothing more? A De-powered Superman should be able to still kick the shit out of anyone cause he has his training to fall back on.

Im going normal edition only because as far as the potential DC silhouettes go I want Red Hood and the rest is passable for me. On top of that Tekken 7 could lock more of my attention once it is out too.

Oh, there's a discord now? Will pop into there tomorrow. Dunno how much I'll play this online but it could be fun to coordinate guild stuff.

As a casual player of fighting games, what should I do to actually get good? I'm feeling that itch with this game, but I'm tired of getting stomped online.

Learn frame data and how to read it, it starts to fall together when you do that. You understand how to punish, what can be punished, what's safe/unsafe, so on.

It is definitely better now but still not up to par to other fighters IMO. Game looks great overall though so I can't complain. I buy about 90% of every fighting game that comes out so I don't take sides.

I'm really enjoying this game compared to NRS recent output. Must be the gear as I'm a huge ARPG player. I need to get more in depth with the limits and abilities of this games combo system though.
I feel that new characters have a pretty good animations, but the old one that didnt change from inj1 have some pretty wanky animations.
Wouldnt surprise me if they started fixing some moves after the feedback, they did something similar in mkx.
I played other fighter too (hundred of hours in sf5) and man that game fanbase have serious anger management issues and can't handle the salt.

I would say keep playing. Play with people better than you or similar level, and talk to them about your matches if possible. You were doing this well, you were doing this a lot and this is how I got around it, this doesn't seem great against this character, ect. ect. Talking about your matches can help a lot. Playing consistently is a major help in getting better.

Learn your character moves, learn which ones are actually good, which ones are ok, which ones are bad but might be good if you never use it and suddenly surprise someone with it. At some point it really does click, you just just gotta push through the losses to do it.

As for the frame data suggestion I would recommend that if you are the type of person who can equate the numbers in framedata with the moves themselves. If not its a crapshoot to try and remember what moves are good against what based on numbers.

I don't, I feel the animations haven't really improved much at all. So no I think it should be talked about. Injustice deserves the praise for the content and I'm looking forward to playing it but also deserves the criticism but you can't honestly say that sfv fanbase can't take criticism and than say that nrs shouldn't have any criticism.

It's not as daunting as it looks. Let's say you're fighting an opponent and they hit you with a normal that's -9, if you know what your 8 frame or less moves are then you know how to punish it. It's all math and remembering numbers.

Honestly, just introduce the MK cast as part of the real DC Universe and have a big Mortal Kombat Tournament arc where they have to save Earthrealm and stuff as their next major event. Unite the franchises and let's get it over with

I want Johnny Cage and Booster Gold to be bros

Though Mortal Kombat is owned by WB and got comics under the DC Comics label even.

So them as guests is even more obvious now. :p

Any bets on how long it'll take for them to get shuffled into the main DC universe? With the Watchmen getting brought to the DCU as we speak I figure it's only a matter of time.

I have been campaigning for DC to put the Lin Kuei into DC as rivals to the LoA forever now.

An MK vs DC game, if you will.

I know its not as good as sf5. But every time an nrs game get discussed its always get derailed and ruined l by "lol still bad animations". At least as someone mentioned it used to be "lol faces and animations".

Yeah I fired up Injustice one a few weeks ago and I agree that some of the characters from the previous game kept some of jank. Hopefully they can go back and smooth some of them out. Other than that the game is great.

I'm really interested to see how the DLC fighters turn out.

Game is pretty fun, looks great. Wish I knew how to play it properly but I imagine people will dig it. Based on hours in the multiverse I gotta say Batman has the ugliest gear and shader combinations I have seen. Truly atrocious at times. Lol.

Fighting this level 20 Darkseid in multiverse with a level 15 Superman is not recommended. Omega beams doing 1/4 of my bar at a time.

More people I know have the game now...

As always I dig your MK and SFV videos so I can't wait to see your I2 vids!

Appreciate that, I do my best with my physical limitations. VERY excited to learn IJ and make some dank online vids once I understand the mechanics.

She looks like so much fun. As soon as I get the in game dough, Vixen will be the first skin I buy.

Yeah she's more than likely my first premium skin buy too!
