Personally like that he's taking his time since the manga was rushed. I am just made that Black's identity was an info dumped and he expanded on stuff that was kinda fluff, looking at you Future Majin Buu Saga.
Plus, Vegetto feels unneeded in the manga with the latest information.

Again, he was part of the creation of the arc the anime is on and we saw some panels from the manga version of this arc.

It's good to take time to develop an arc but there really hasn't been anything in the manga that has made me go "woah" like in the anime.
At this rate I really want him to finish it already.

Merged Zamas defusing already doesn't make sense. Old Kai & the Witch are still fused. If there was a 1 hour time limit old kai wouldn't exist. Toyotaru is just being incompetent.

I was just talking about sweet revenge.
Zamasu used the Dragon Balls to take Goku's body killed his family after making them watch Goku die,conquered Earth in an attempt to kill all mortals and only because Hoku beat him in a friendly match. Goku deserves that Black kill he is his most personal villain since Frieza and punk Trunks finishes him off with a magic sword? No fun 😣
At least we knew they were going to change it since the kids dont exist in the manga

Switch version of Xenoverse 2 comes with the Xenoverse 1 storymode included, that's pretty cool.

Randomly decided to play around with GIMP over dinner and made this. Really just curious how Goku would look in a Pride Troopers uniform. I have no real art skills, but I think it turned out okay:
I can't draw Goku from scratch and the uniform is form fitting, so I tried to find a nice screenshot of him without a shirt. That's why I've only got half of him; I probably can't do the legs myself. After I traced it over and added the new lines, I just took the colours directly from Toriyama's art and painted them in.

I don't think that's true, no one else but Gohan had one in Z outside of a catalyst for SSJ1 transforming. SSJ1 is sort of an asspull but not really since the whole arc was building up around it since Goku landed. Trunks just gets SSJRage out of nowhere without explanation or foreshadowing.
Now, Goku Black can just get mad and pull random moves out of nowhere out of his ass and make clones of himself (lol this was the worst part of the arc) and Goku can suddenly have more effect in one blast on Zamasu than the combined strength of two blasts from Vegeta and Trunks.

I'm mildly interested in them, and while I feel like I could do without, I think this kind of thing is important and necessary. So I have no real problem with it.
I always appreciate the extra context in the long run. Gives things more weight.

It didn't work in RoF. RoF was a trash arc.
The best part about the Future Trunks arc was Black and Zamasu, the more we learn about the other universes, the better.

Goku is the villain of this story arc. No way he deserves to wear a hero's uniform.
