Damn.
Great options, unlocked fps and no-Steam made me excited to play on PC. Now i won't.

This is stupid.
And while Sony could be behind this it's doubtful since Xbox is releasing same day as well.
So, if the PC release is delayed, I assume they're confident this won't be a repeat of 'Nilla Destiny?
Because if the first-impressions after launch are like D1's, the PC version is DOA.
I mean, you're missing the point. He is saying that people will go to pc from ps4 because destiny is a shooter and shooters are better with kb+mouse, while that does not happen at all in any considerable numbers
CS:GO is a PC only game (yeah, I know about that irrelevant last gen port that never got updated at all) and Overwatch is a Blizzard game.
And btw, Destiny is what you would call a 'lame shooter' if that is your criteria.
Nah, they already have systems in place in destiny 1 preventing you from using gear you don't have "licenses" to. They exist within your inventory but are greyed out. It isn't far fetched at all.
People who play COD and Battlefield haven't had to switch over because there was always a PC version.
People like me who would prefer to play on PC with kb+m and high framerates had no choice but to either sit out Destiny 1 or buy it on console.
It should be no surprise that shooter franchises like COD and BF that have become more console-focused over time do better on console.CSGO peaks at like 500k concurrent users in a day. Overwatch's most active community is on PC. FPS that aren't lame do well on PC.
What do you mean by "dozens of you"? Are you saying very few people will migrate from console to PC? That seems like an absurd statement. You can argue that the console versions will still have a healthy base of players without arguing that barely anybody will move to PC.so we're back to square one: there are dozens like you
outside the hardcore gaming forums, the two demographics don't cross over. Destiny will be fine in both platforms
How long did GTAV take to get on PC? And how did it do/still doing?
I think they'll be fine regardless how long it takes. Sucks for us to wait that long to play on PC though. But it will still sell just fine I reckon.

Not that strong, I remember GTA4's single-core performance mess.GTA had a strong history on PC, so it did good despite the massive wait just for a confirmation of a port.
lol fucking Christmas? wtf
That's totally for money reasons if true.
I was going to wait until an eventual definitive edition including expansions anyway. You just know there will be $120 ultimate editions for day 1 buyers, and I'm not about that life anymore. There are / will be other great games to play.
Man this fucking blows
Except it's not. A pseudo mmo shooter will thrive on pc. The division would be dead on pc if it wasn't for the loot giving it legs. Destiny is unique from cod and bf, and especially being placed in a client next to diablo and wow? It will do fine. PC gamers love numbers.GTA had a strong history on PC, so it did good despite the massive wait just for a confirmation of a port.
Destiny is an untested console-based FPS in a highly saturated market. Out of other noteworthy console-focused FPS, CoD is dead on PC and BF is declining hard as of late. Delayed release is basically suicide.
Real dumb, Bungie.
You'd prefer it to release unfinished?

It's not like the game comes out tomorrow.
They should allocate resources to the PC version to ensure to comes out on time. Pretty simple really.
Odds are it's a server side thing. They probably won't have a solid idea of what to expect until the beta hits.
ThisI'd be surprised if the PC pop puts a hurt on their infrastructure anymore than the console versions.
The most likely scenario is they cut resources to PC in order to ensure Sept 8 release for consoles.

I can't see it being delayed to long. A month or less, to be honest.
