For blockbuster movies like these (and most movies I guess), you will inevitably watch it at some point on cable, or on demand, etc. so reading all sorts of analysis why the movie is good or sucks just influences your viewing, which will inevitably happen so it just makes sense to watch a movie while it's first run.

Guys, these are CRITIC reviews, not fan reviews. Big difference.

Grain of salt required. BvS got a good deal of hype and news of people loving the screening and applauding and shit. Same with SS. Seems to be manufactured hype trains surround the DCU. I'll wait for reviews. Hopefully its actually good and fun cause Wonder Woman deserves it.

That said I looked up a few of those names and a few are people that weren't crazy about BvS so it bodes well so far. More concerned about Justice League having tons of reshoots. That looks like a clusterfuck in the making. Focusing on one character makes it much easier to to create a competent film.

I expect to read lots of "Just like Donner's Superman!" but the commercials don't convince me that is anything more than a marketing line to justify a lighter tone by comparing it to another beloved DC superhero film, as if that is the only way to convince DC fans they aren't selling out by Marvel-izing their films and making them have more humor.

consider they made it a point to ape an iconic Superman moment and "the Justice starts with her" tagline it wouldn't surprise me if it was more than a marketing line. I'm not going to give weight to these press reactions for a second since Gadot has yet to show any acting talent or charisma her entire career.
