The Online game is garbage, it preserves very little of the dynamism of DD's combat. It's an MMO first, a F2P game second and a DD game third.

They need to announce a true sequel.

Hideaki Itsuno is announcing a new game this year, which is almost certainly either another Devil May Cry or DD2.

Considering all of the exposure DD has been getting since the PC release + the fact that the series is basically Itsuno's baby + the fact that Capcom needs to use those Deep Down assets somehow... it's a strong possibility.

Awesome. I played a fair amount of the vanilla game and enjoyed it. I bought Dark Arisen but didnt get a chance to continue my game in it because I had other stuff going on. I'll pick this up for sure though; I really did like it and wanted to play it.

Awesome game but there is no way I am doing this again just for prettier graphics and what not and because Wolves hunt in pack and companion one liner that repeat ad nauseum ...developper really need to option this,like after the 100th time,turn it off or something lol...great for those who never played this though.

yeah every class was pretty fun...I really felt Capcom had a hit on their hands. Add a great story, and these mechanics can be refined for a good 10 years imo. Such a fun game, felt like a polished Nintendo project.

Glad it's coming to PS4 as I would have likely skipped it.

This will be my third time as well (bought PS3 vanilla then PS3 Dark Arisen) and i would gladly buy it again.
I'm not really into remasters ,i have bought very few in the past generation and this one but there are some games that are extremelly special to me (Demon's Souls would be another one) that i would gladly give them my money for an improved version.

There is definitely some monster hunter in there. Like attacking specific parts of a monster to damage it and how combos are handled.

Those aren't unique to MH.

You need to spell sync. If multiple people are casting the same spell close together, the cast time is reduced, and the damage is increased. You kinda need to have at least two sorcerors to benefit from that class.
