I couldn't agree more than the raising of the splinter costs does hurt things. I've played maybe 10 hours in the last 2 days and already i've gotten Iron Man, War Machine and Rocket to 60 and Magick is 45, she will be 60 before the end of the night. Limiting it to 1 character early on is a bad idea. people are going to hit max level quickly with that one character and burn out before they ever get close to a second character

Yeah it's weird that they went from an okay game during the PC beta to a great game a year or so after launch and then slowly reduced it back to a bad game again

I really want to know what founder's pack means to Gazillion. You get a character(s) that are already available, or in the near future, and some Gs that are now worth less after the closed beta. So what exactly are we finding? That the company likes to milk the Marvel license and its user base for all its worth in the console market space now that the PC community is dry?

Beware, several characters got destroyed by hidden nerfs in the update. Gambit is one of them, Punisher signature power is also obviously broken now. You should lurk in the official forum to see which characters did suffer from this.

Not on the AUS store, not that I'm surprised. We still only have the Spider-Man and War Machine Founder's packs available.

It will be F2P soon, the founder pack were just a way to buy into the beta early. They haven't said that there will be another progress wipe after the one a few days ago so we can only assume there won't be. I've had characters from the PC beta that still have that progress so there's no reason to think there will be another wipe

I'm not 100% sure about the server stuff but as far as I know everything is server based. I don't remember any hacking on PC but it could have been there. I don't care about PVP (and i'm not sure PVP is even in the console version yet?) so it's kind of a non issue for me either way

What would they have to gain by keeping their user base in the dark with these major character changes? So that players who bought Gambit with real money not be let down by their purchase desicion? If so what does that say about this company?

Everything in the game is server-side. I played a bunch on pc and I don't think there was any item hacking (there was account hacking though).

You got 500 bonus splinters in the supply item section, it should be there.

I think I'm about at the same point which is a shame since I was really looking forward to this. It just seem so far as if the devs plans are to nickle and dime the console audience and while sure they might catch a few whales I believe it will drive more people away then it will bring to the table. It's not a huge deal as there is still a lot coming out that will keep me preoccupied like Tera, but it's disappointing that recent design choices could do a lot of damage to the perception of this game.

Unless you're willing to pay for her or do some serious grinding, you can't unlock Jean from the start as she is one of the few heroes that costs more GS than you're given following the tutorial.

Jean is fun, Captain Marvel can be too, but Jean is pretty versatile. She can be very survivable, flashy, and destructible.

Yep, same here. That along with Gaz's shady-as-hell business practices regarding the monetization of the game is why I'm deleting it. Shame, because I rarely get a game that lets me play as Moon Knight, but while having my favorite character will get me to overlook some of your flaws, it's not enough in this case.

You can if you played over the weekend, you get 400 crystals and an additional 500 for the mixup in pricing giving you 900, which is plenty to buy Jean.

Well as someone fron Australia, it seems I will most likely be avoiding this game now due to the content not being made available to us on the PlayStation store. So far, we only have access to 2 of the founders packs(Spiderman and War Machine) and now we won't have access to Daredevil or his skin that were just put up too.
