No problem. Also on wake up I've found that his knee and palm specials are good to use. You can try the omega beams but if it gets blocked or ducked you're wide open. Also like I said earlier his normals don't work most of the time on wake up because they are so slow. Don't be afraid to abuse the omega beams ESPECIALLY the meter burn versions because you can control the directions. You can also do that with his supermove.

I'm in no way shape or form good at fighting games but Darkseid is simple enough that I can actually put up a fight against people. If you fight a rush down character though good luck lol.

You can do specials on wake up? I'll give that a shot.

I'm a complete noob with this stuff. Only fighting games I've really played were DoA and Tekken 3. 😄

Sorry, what's a rushdown character?

With the giuld boss battles, how or when do you get rewarded for them ?

Just beat The Flash, do I wait for everyone else in my guild to beat him before I get something ?

Probably didn't do it correctly ? I obviously wasn't able to take out all of his health in one attempt (took just under 46 minutes, while shrinking The Flash's health bar bit by bit). I was thinking I would get the full reward for the total HP it took to take him out.... but nope.

If those guides under the challenge (3k etc) are for whatever the highest total HP you took off of him in an attempt, then I guess that's it for me (only managed 3,5k HP in my best attempt).

Is there no limit to the amount of Gold boxes you can earn from wins in the AI Battle Sim thing? In the battle log it says "Attacking daily rewards 0/5" but you can just delete the logs and it goes back down, I just got 11 of them.

I think the gear box system is fucked up.

I just opened 10 gold boxes and got one normal box and then got the three same boxes three times in a row. So I have three times the same gear items , with the exact same stats.

Just happened to me aswell

Really loving this game....completed story mode, and then went back and fully finished it with the characters i didnt pick on the first run through. Multiverse is really cool so far.

Honestly, the gear i get right now hasn't been for characters i've been even using. Is that intentional to get us to try other characters?

The AI in this game so far lol....even on the lower difficulty settings, the input reading is obvious at times and quite annoying. I think that's a NRS thing as the MK games have always had that.

I think, as a guild, you have to slowly shrink that life bar. Seems like the main reason to beat those bosses isn't an instant reward, but to contribute to beating the challenges in the multiverse, which can yield good rewards for the guild overall?

That one seemed different than the boss I fought last week, where beating him gave an instant Platinum box.

wow that Cheetah multiverse has a lot of loot but I will have to get Vixen to L10 first. Got her at 8 this morning

----------------

Finally came across a second skirt for Supergirl. Will make sure not to shard this one. Going to assign to a backup loadout so it cant delete it again this time. Sill not sure if I will trasmog it unto my epic since I read in this thread we dont earn source crystals for leveling up the profile anymore once we hit 70 ;(

They say source crystals can be purchased but never even seen that option in ps4 store lol. but doubt I will.

I am ashamed to say that I spent 40 minutes in Versus battle (timer set to 300, rounds set to 1) to get Vixen/Cheetah up to level 20 to tackle those and get her decked out in Epic gear...and I may have done the same for Braniac previously.

Fought against a player who had a black canary with gray skin last night. How do you get something like that? Her list of shaders doesn't show that.
Premium edition exclusive. It comes with the season pass.

Uh, I hope we can get source crystals other than paying for them. Hitting that cap soon and unless I find the right epics, I need to mod my Supergirl and Ivy.

Is this the quickest way to level up characters? Can you please explain the entire steps? Just keep doing one round over and over again. 40 mins seems way fast for max level.

That's pretty much it. Those settings in single fight and keep running it. Should only take 40 minutes, which is accurate.

Are there any tricks to get more points in Multiverse? Kicking all the asses available, still only get bronze. Need to get Gold to finish this Earth.
It reminds me of MKX, where playing super well and demolishing an opponent with meter burned moves was less rewarded than landing an x-ray and finishing with a brutality. Don't worry about playing "well." You get bonus points for interactables, stage transitions and supers (especially if you end a match with a super). As well, any time you see a meta challenge, go for it. It seems like anytime I land 3+ supers in a tower, at least one transition, and some interactables, I get the Gold rating.

Go to options, change the round time to 300 seconds, rounds to 1. Start a versus battle with a second controller.

You get a lot of XP because you should be able to end the match at about 288 seconds remaining (4 combos and you're done). You'll get bonuses for time on clock, perfect win and most importantly, you can get in a ton of matches in very little time. Even better if you have XP gear equipped. It took about 40 minutes to go from level 1 to level 20. But again...

I feel shame that I did it (but wanted to get that Multiverse before it ran out and knew I was going to be able to level up Cheetah in time).

I figure I know the answer to this, but can you open multiple boxes at once? Every time I log into my guild I get about 30 bronze boxes, and 10-15 others.

At one point yesterday I had 79 Bronze, 20 Silver, an 8 Gold.

Opening them allowed us to get the "open 200 boxes" guild achievement but it took about 10 minutes to do it.

Does this game have that "slow" mortal kombat feel to it? I was wanting a game that is a bit quicker than that... but not as fast as Street Fighter... if that makes sense.

It definitely feels like a mix between the two. And certain matchups definitely feel faster than most SF characters.

You can definitely tell it's a NRS game, but generally I think it's faster paced. Grain of salt, I'm not a fighting game connoisseur- I've mainly played a lot of Virtua Fighter, some older Tekken, the Persona 4 one, some MK, and Injustice

Not yet as far as I know but I hope they patch that in. I had to turn off vibrations because of all the time I spent opening boxes.

Man I hope they do this antigravity multiverse thing more. The combos are ridiculous and hilarious with how long folks float. Its like using Ammy's time slow super in I2!

Was feeling bad for Deadshot cheesing my way to the ranked trophy. Then someone picked Damien Wayne and I thought "No, he deserved it".

Oh wow the "Powers of Dr. Polaris" modifier is no fun at all, holy crap.

The whole floor just gets electrified every 2 seconds or so stunning anyone on the ground. That's so dumb

Ya, I haven't done a ton of multiverse but so far that's the most annoying modifier to me.
