Played around with Wonder Woman in training mode for a bit and she seems really fun. Good damage even without burning meter and some decent options both up close and at a distance. I would appreciate some general tips from the WW veterans in here though. WIll get her to 20 next partially for the gear thing and partially because she fits my playstyle.

Still have a lot of fun with Supergirl but I agree with some of the previous sentiments in this thread. Her damage seems a bit on the low side considering that her mixup game isn't THAT great because so many of her options are unsafe. She also can't do any damage without meter. I'm trying to get down 1,1,u3 into b1,2 but that shit is ridiculously hard to hit because the timing is so strict. That being said her powerbomb is still one of the most satisfying moves to hit in this game.

Ok gonna hold the spot open for you.
Thank you so much!

I PM'd you too, but I'm not sure if my PMs are working. Anyhow, I need to leave the guild I'm in then I'll send the application. Do you know if I'll have to wait before applying? It's not like I've been in several different ones, just that the one I'm in nobody is very active.

I can message you on PSN now from my phone if that'll help remind you to hold it for me. What's your PSN name?

All that talk about Supergirl being terrible and then I go and fight one in the multiverse that absolutely kicks my ass 3 times before finally going down.

The low gravity modifier makes her an absolute fucking nightmare because it seems like every attack she uses causes you to go flying, which she then proceeds to go combo crazy on you. Even the eye beams which she was spamming like crazy were sending me flying up to be destroyed.

Her damage was also insane, she did more damage in a single combo than my Robin did with his supermove.

She was only level 2 with a mid-tier AI as well.

I think the key thing is to master the down 1, 2. That cancels into whatever special and extends combos as it has range for juggles. Jumping 3 is good at controlling space and harassing wakeups if you time it right. It can cross up. Down 1,2 is a decent close range option when stuck in the corner and dealing with pressure.

I think if you leave a Guild for the first you have to wait not more 5 minutes i think.

Also dont worry just send your request to the ID and you gonna get accepted.

Darkseid with low gravity modifier was even worse.

All he did the entire match was teleport away and spam lasers. I couldn't get close to him because the low gravity and the constant beam spam just kept pushing me back.

After the stressful week I've had this multiverse has got me damn near breaking my fucking controller in two. I was literally screaming at the TV being completely powerless to fight back.

Can't believe how annoying that was

Thanks a lot, I'll keep that in mind.

Why does my Ultimate just...fizzle out sometimes? Are you able to counter or fizzle someone else's? I was all happy that I was going to get my first online win, but noped out hard when my Ult whiffed.

Also, where in training can I practice spoon fed combos against a dummy character?

I need the freaking prompts in bold on the screen. Trying to remember them is too much for my old brain.

Supergirl needs a damage buff. She should be doing damage close to Superman and Black Adam given what type of character she is.

Yes, the haracter that can completely mitigate zoning should be buffed on top of having tons of mobility options. Supergirl is fine guys.

Update did what? It certainly didn't fix the locked-out-of-level-rewards issue from deleveling characters

I think it was crashes and profile stuff. The de-leveling stuff seems to have to do with disconnecting. I was leveling a character up and my internet died, it went from 15 to 10. I spent many minutes and now I want those back.

After trying to play this with a pad, I've realized it's not for me. I can never do back forward moves for some reason. Too many years on the stick(lul)

I've read it's a cache issue. I've been making sure to close the game application after a session and never had the issue again. When it did happen, just turning the system off for about 30 seconds and restarting then doing a Multiverse or two fixed it.

Go into extra->options>game settings, then turn off negative edge and input shortcuts.

Turn off alternate controls too unless you'd really prefer SF style quarter circle motions.

That should help you out.

I'm taking a break till Red Hood is out and also don't shoot me. I kinda hate multiverse the cheap ai reading your moves the random loot that gives me a million Poison Ivy epics instead of one for Firestorm I'm sticking to PVP modes from now on.

Oh, I turned off that first thing and made inputs SF style. I just can't physically do back-forward on a pad fast/accurately enough. I'm back on a stick now

I know it is highly to near impossible but as I watch Man of Steel I really want Zod to be in this game. I loved him in the first game and would just love to play with him in this one.

It hurts that so many great characters were given the ax. A lot of them feel wasted in some way -- I can't help but imagine all the awesome gear pieces someone like Ares or Lex would have, or how much better Raven would look in the new game.

Is wonder womans trait completely random or is there an order to it like teddies items in persona 4 arena? I'd hate if it was actually random.

It's completely random, unless you use gear moves. It sucks, she sucks.

Also from earlier in the thread, Super girls problem is her garbage framedata and moves, not really her damage.

It takes some getting used to (NRS motion df opposed to qcf), but you'll get it. I didn't bother with alternate (SF) style inputs because so many people advised against it, but whatever works best for you go with that.

Good luck in any case. I was planning to use one of my sticks, but have been playing so much on pad that I might stick (haha a pun) with the pad.

Can't decide which pad I prefer dual shock 4 or Xbox 360 (wired controller + Brook's converter).

Yeah. And this game is such a big improvement over the last one that it makes it hard to go back.
