I did say borderline-violent, man, not actually violent
implying that you can't see the distaste in several posts for this because it's not overt is kinda putting on blinders for what seems like pretty obvious subtext
What person said they enjoy gacha games. Why do people enjoy this.
You'll Like Berkut(and his voice) and his introduction (was expecting something more evil).I've only played Awakening but really liked the matchmaking and support conversations. Felt like a soap opera. I understand that's not an emphasis here, but if the battles aren't too long or difficult, I'd probably still be interested just because the world and characters look appealing.
I need something to tide me over between now, the next ARMS Testpunch, and E3. But I don't feel like digging into my backlog (Nier Automata, Dark Souls 3, Deus Ex: Mankind Divided, and Last Guardian... All a bit too dreary for my mood at the moment).
Maybe Fire Emblem Echoes would be a good stopgap title.
Got a chuckle out of Charolette having a giant spoon in place of an axe.
Yeah, it doesn't need to be cheesy romance (although I certainly enjoy that, too).To respond to your post about the supports: There are less of them and near as I can tell, none so dramatic. They tend to be of a more casual nature and they each only go up three levels. But I think they're great. They come off as very natural and authentic and they work as a great supplement to a game that actually has a story it's very invested in telling. It's different from Awakening, but yeah, it's great. Sounds like you'd like it.
People are allowed to dislike things. No one in this thread is being vitriolic or borderline-violent.
I mean if your problem with my point is the semantics of the degree of the words I used then we're just gonna have to agree to disagree. Dunno if it's just me but I don't see the point in jumping into a thread to complain about the fact that this exists and then leaving.
Like I've been playing Heroes since launch as F2P and it's a fun crossover of one of my favorite franchises that gets downright goofy at times (see the fucking giant carrot lances and axes from the Easter event). Why would I get mad at something as relatively innocuous as bridal gear for previously-established characters in a game that seems rather disconnected from the main games? This doesn't devalue the characters in their own games in any way so like... I don't get it.
The Spoon is actually a Lance Weapon. Which is a bit odd thinking about it, considering a Knife or a Fork are more "Lance" like.
What going to be a bit hilarious is seeing people give Caeda's Bouquet Tome to Odin, Reinhardt, and Robin.
Yeah I noticed that after posting. That's too bad since it'd be so perfect for her as an axe instead lol.
Have you ever been impaled hard enough by a spoon? The Spoon is actually a Lance Weapon. Which is a bit odd thinking about it, considering a Knife or a Fork are more "Lance" like.

New Weapon triangle
Spoons, Forks and Knives.
Get everyone to spend their orbs on this banner, only for them to release a Part 2 right afterwards, with Lucina, Tharja, Camilla, and Eirika in there. WHALES WILL OPEN THEIR WALLETS!Waifus for real!
no Camilla or Tharja kind of kills it for me tho, not even Lucina is part of this like wtf?
The lack of grooms is quite lame. If the next banner is only seasonal male units then I can understand, but as of right now, this seems like a missed opportunity.
So people are only allowed to comment if they like this or what? I genuinely don't get what your problem is.

RIP one of my favourite series.
Good thing you did don't play Awakening and see my Bride brigade.RIP one of my favourite series.

Echoes bombed, Heroes is subsidizing your remakes, show some appreciation!
People in this thread claiming "muh series" are ridiculous.
Go play the actual game that is out right now and stop with this crap.
I swear I don't like to judge fanbases, but Fire Emblem fans (especially older ones) are consistently the worst. I might have to reconsider my stance on this case.
Sometimes I feel like an alien for loving both types of Fire Emblem (Shadow Dragon can burn in hell tho).Yeah, it's also kind of annoying to see the elitism of the older fans of the series too. They're not too welcoming of new comers and some of the bigger elitists don't like that your first game was Awakening, or Fates or Heroes as they try to gatekeep the series.
I don't see it much around here but I see it a lot in other places

Describe "bombed" if you would. Because what numbers we've seen from the Japanese side of things at least is that it did in line with other remakes, which is hardly "bombing" considering it was only a remake.
No one cares about these characters except Lyn and Cordelia.
Can Lyn's B move be inherited onto non-staff users? This is the important question.
Not really the same thing. You mean the DS remakes that did so poorly they damn near killed the series off?
