The Spoon is actually a Lance Weapon. Which is a bit odd thinking about it, considering a Knife or a Fork are more "Lance" like.

What going to be a bit hilarious is seeing people give Caeda's Bouquet Tome to Odin, Reinhardt, and Robin.

Yeah, it doesn't need to be cheesy romance (although I certainly enjoy that, too).

I'd be fine with two characters just getting to know each other better as human beings.

I mean if your problem with my point is the semantics of the degree of the words I used then we're just gonna have to agree to disagree. Dunno if it's just me but I don't see the point in jumping into a thread to complain about the fact that this exists and then leaving.

Like I've been playing Heroes since launch as F2P and it's a fun crossover of one of my favorite franchises that gets downright goofy at times (see the fucking giant carrot lances and axes from the Easter event). Why would I get mad at something as relatively innocuous as bridal gear for previously-established characters in a game that seems rather disconnected from the main games? This doesn't devalue the characters in their own games in any way so like... I don't get it.

As an everyday player of FE Heroes this makes me chuckle. They'll mostly be useless and people will fork over tons of cash for their waifus so I can keep playing :p

Looking forward to the free orbs from the paralogues and challenges.

The lack of grooms is quite lame. If the next banner is only seasonal male units then I can understand, but as of right now, this seems like a missed opportunity.

It is unfortunate, but there has been a Bride class in previous Fire Emblem games and no male equivalent.

They ought to follow Granblue Fantasy's lead in this area.

I mean, come on, maybe we can give those characters a break considering they all won their respective voting gauntlets? I joked a while back in a different place about Heroes eventually ending up with a Lucina for every weapon type by the end of year one but I think we don't really NEED that. I'm happy they're giving other people the chance to shine!

I swear I don't like to judge fanbases, but Fire Emblem fans (especially older ones) are consistently the worst. I might have to reconsider my stance on this case.

Hmm, it'd be pretty neat to relegate most of the sexual fanservice to this game. Echoes is notably missing a fanservice DLC like that after both Awakening and Fates had them. On the other hand, Echoes is also missing the expanded conversations that those fanservice dlcs had which is somewhat disappointing.

Yeah, it's also kind of annoying to see the elitism of the older fans of the series too. They're not too welcoming of new comers and some of the bigger elitists don't like that your first game was Awakening, or Fates or Heroes as they try to gatekeep the series.

I don't see it much around here but I see it a lot in other places

Sometimes I feel like an alien for loving both types of Fire Emblem (Shadow Dragon can burn in hell tho).

Describe "bombed" if you would. Because what numbers we've seen from the Japanese side of things at least is that it did in line with other remakes, which is hardly "bombing" considering it was only a remake.

On the other hand, I do think some of the criticisms are warranted and fair. There's a lot of effort and thought put into the opinions of some of the members of the community. In that sense, Fire Emblem is one of the more meticulous communities around even if that comes with the consequence of being harsher than it needs to be at times. I do fear that another wave of change is in order with FE Switch on the horizon however.

Shadow Dragon is freaking awesome though. So many tight difficulty modes even if the game isn't as insane as New Mystery. Plus the script is great.

I like Lyn's skillset. Too bad you can't pair it with the skill that allows healers to deal full damage.

Aside from that, the rest is okay. I have 116 orbs, will try to at least get one of them though.

Not really the same thing.
Fire Emblem actually has an audience in the west now, Shadow dragon bombed here in the west.

We'll see how Echoes does here, but it won't be a SD situation
