Available on amazon...GO GO GO! Just got one for Monday delivery!

Damnit. Just ordered it. I had the page open and ready to order earlier but I decided I'm trying to cut down on stuff.

Now I've had a few beers and see your post. Ordered. Going to have to get the shuttle off eBay or something now as well.

I have that set too. It is tiny next to the new one.

I have the 1.5 meter tall 1/72 scale Saturn V kit from Dragon but really want this one too... Wonder how long before it shows up on Amazon Japan.

My order from lego.com just shipped via FedEx. The 10 day shipping might have been a big over estimate...

Ah yeah, mine just shipped too with estimated delivery on Monday... Which happens to be my birthday... Great timing.

Except for the part where it's FedEx, I won't be home and I don't have a car to go pick it up at the warehouse in the middle of fucking nowhere. Yay for an extra 25$ on Uber ride to get back home...

I just picked one up at the local Lego Store, they had about 5 behind the counter. Barnes and Noble had 2 behind the register but the boxes were pretty beat up from the security wrap.

Box may be beat up but the bricks were probably pristine.

Either way, did you snag one somewhere? I am very curious to read impressions of this set form people, especially people who don't build many LEGO sets to see how much it fucks with their heads.

Ugh. I forgot about it! Ended up getting it from Lego online shop. I'll have to wait since it's backordered, but I'm ok with that. I'll try and get another one from elsewhere for now.

Yeah, I just finished building it and it took about 4 hours. It's probably been 20 years since I really messed with LEGO. It was pretty straight forward, but I can't believe someone was able to design this.

Went to my local Lego store yesterday, they had 4 in stock (around 11). I asked about it, they put it on the counter for me. I wanted to get something for my daughter while there, so I went to look. In the time I was looking, they sold the 3 other ones, and someone came in asking about it as I was checking out too.

I'm sure it's that way for Star Wars ones as well, but I've never seen that in a Lego store.

Where can or lets better say could you buy the Saturn V?

Only from the lego online shop?
Will it hit amazon (Germany) any time soon?

Just got a notice that the set shipped, despite me striking out when it went on sale and immediately getting a back order notice until June 19th.

Nice surprise. It also said it shipped yesterday and should be arriving today but I'm not buying that.

You lucky ducks with quick order-to-delivery turnaround. Mine is perpetually stuck in ALEXANDRIA BUSINESS HUB DWS limbo, which is a pretty common thing with LEGO into Australia.

Ya killing me Alexandria Business Hub, FFS.

You were late. I ordered mine from amazon Japan on the 24th. It arrived on the 3rd.

Too bad I can't build the thing until next year...

Edit:

Finally got one here in Japan. Will probably all be gone soon.

Nice.

This is the second time I've broken my "don't reply to a post until you've checked for a follow up post" rule in recent memory, and the second time I've ended up with egg on my face. I really should stick to my own rule. Congrats on getting the set.

Looks like you also paid ¥2000 less than I did. Can't say I'm too bothered though, I just had to have this thing.

Yeah, that puts the price of the StarWars UCS sets in perspective. Fucking Disney is taking 50% for licensing.

Not only that I suppose, there's a huge market and demand for Star Wars so higher prices can be charged. This rumoured new Falcon won't cost anywhere near as much as it will be at retail, but they can charge it as they know people will pay it.

Watching some reviews on YouTube inspired me to order this. It's all sold out on the NZ Lego site but they're still taking back orders, says will ship by July, which is oddly appropriate. :p

Not much of a Lego collector, but thought this would look awesome next to my 3 foot starship Enterprise model.

So... I ordered those six blue pieces, and they're shipped from a city called Strykow in Poland?

That seems insanely expensive given the cost of the pieces and the "free shipping".
