I wonder why they didn't just use Goku's EoZ outfit for his alt.

I think it might have just been the off screen footage I was watching. The colors were really muted and drab looking. I haven't seen direct feed of the alt colors yet but I'm assuming it'll look a bit better.

When the female characters are drawn in Z style they look fantastic.. however the super style is major disservice.

A major disservice is being as close as posible to Toriyama's character design?

He designed her to be a skinny bratty kid.

Not a super sexy femme-fatale like in that awful fanart.

This is like people complaining about Trunk's blue hair despite the root of the problem was the anime people changing his Bulma design.

Why do all of the characters have to have the same body type? Toriyama is still designing characters with muscle definition, but obviously he wanted the U6 Saiyans to look different.

I'll be surprised if what they have playable right now will be all of them. Arcsys games tend to give a good 16-20ish alt colors. I think it looks fine for the ones I've seen so far, but others down the line could change it up.

Who knows if Hercule will make the roster, but it would be hilarious if he did somehow make it as a joke character.

That would actually be great xD And even if he doesn't make it in, they should make him a mini assist for Majin Buu, like Sorbet is for Freeza.

Animating the base characters is hard enough. Their process would make completely different alts a nightmare.

Maybe. Budokai 3 had a little more going for it than just combat(and some sick looking beam struggles).

And this game doesnt? The combat is a big part of it but let's not ignore the attention to detail they are showing with this game. We have only seen this game at 20% and it's completely blowing expectations. So I don't think it's crazy to say that this game will probably go down as one of the great DB games.

You know, I never even considered this until now. People are going to expect costume alts, but that's going to be pretty unrealistic considering how it's done. I hope people will understand that it would take so much effort to do on a regular basis for each character. Kind of difficult to explain though unless they watch that video where the ArcSys guy does a talk on their method lol

Future Trunks fighting with a sword would be a given. Would be nice to see the Power Pole if they ever did Dragon Ball, but I don't see that happening unfortunately.

I could actually see a kid Goku as DLC (if not in base game) fighting with the pole and using nimbus. Kid Goku would be a sweet DLC character.
