I don't necessarily agree with some things in the article, but I think it does a good job of talking about violence in America and its ties to political disagreements between the left and right. The website's name is a little weird though.

I didnt know it was updated. If I knowingly posted inaccurate news thats one thing. I didnt think to go back a week later to see if the facts changed as it was just one of several similar articles at that time. But say I post fake news all you want. Say I post alot of fake news even though this is the first time I ever engaged with this part of the forum or brought up a single headline

There are still a bunch of articles similar that are true some of which were during that same week. Idaho stuck out to me cause its in he middle of the US. Most of the others took place in Europe.

Most people who get banned get banned because they're doing exactly what you're doing now: Thread derailing, making it a pity fest about themselves, barely talking about any tangible subject matter and just continually being vapid, no information, whiners that makes everything about how they're being persecuted and that the other side are actually the worst type of human being universally.

If you want to not get banned on gaf, just say what you mean, stay on subject, and cite factual information while not being racist/homophobic/sexist. Don't play the woe is me card while generalizing the forum constantly. If you want to call out specific people, quote them.

So what exactly are these views? If they're within reason, it shouldn't be a problem to state them here. People on GAF are genuinely willing to talk about anything. Just keep an open mind and don't get mad if anything you say gets contested or outright proven wrong like the fake news you posted earlier.

This is not a one off incident mass shootings in the US are a thing. I mean their was another one in San Francisco today at a UPS facility and 4 people died there but this is the bigger story because of the political motivation. When people actually start holding their representatives accountable and get gun laws and mental health laws changed then things might change but as of now this will be just another incident in a long list of mass shootings in the US.

My post was probably not clear enough, but I think you misinterpreted the context of my statement. In no way do I mean to diminish the seriousness of mass shootings, but I hope targeted violence against government officials does not become the new norm going forward. Sadly, the far-right sovereign citizen movement already has militant elements that have been fighting a "war" against the government for decades. That last thing this country needs is militant opposition on the left. Unfortunately, I am not encouraged by the left's response to Trumps election, the recent rise of violent left-wing anarchist factions, and this recent assassination attempt. I don't see how the growing belligerence on both sides of the spectrum can be peacefully sustained. I don't think any of this ends well.

Here's a thought: Human beings commit murder. Human beings rape. Human beings beat people.
