Been years since I read it, but I quite liked Tsubasa. It becomes a bit too convoluted by the end, and I guess some may be put off by its very fanservice-y nature, but it's good.

This was fairly good, the mu/human war iw still kinda weak in the manga too, I remember the anime's writing getting a bit meh with the whole Megido stuff, but overall the result is still the same. However, there is no Koyasu going JOMY MARCUS SHIN every 5 seconds in this, so the manga loses by default.
I appreciate how brutal the manga is however, Naska's

The epilogue is... whatever.
Overall it still is a solid read even after these years, definitely a classic.
Nemureru Mori no Binan and its sequel Tomoi
The last two chapters were so full of tragedy that it started to feel like the universe hated this dude and I had hard time taking the manga seriously. I guess overall I enjoyed it, even if it left me with bitter feelings. It was also pretty ballsy for a '80s shoujo I guess?

This started pretty well and it even used one of my favorite settings (Post-apocalyptic earth reverted back to medieval society) but it kinda gets... trippy pretty fast and honestly I thought it was also kinda creepy. My last thought after reading the last chapter was "Did Hagio Moto do drugs?".
Anyway, this is enough '80s shoujo for now. I'll need a break before I'll start the next one.

I have mixed feelings about this. I think Binan was fine, if not a bit inconclusive. Tomoi on other hand felt like a missed opportunity
when he goes back to Japan he never confronts his parents, instead the manga uses 3 chapters on a weird "comedy" arc.

When I wanted to pick up a new series I thought Re:Ghoul would be good, so I looked at the first chapter of Tokyo Ghoul, saw the art was way different. I quickly went no and picked something else. [Ao no Exorcist] I'm not saying I made the right choice, just that I didn't care for the art in Tokyo Ghoul.

The TG art gets better as it goes on, is only particularly rough at the beginning. I'd say the art is about what you would expect from seeing :re panels by halfway through-ish.

They dedicated an entire chapter to them doing it they almost had to make her preggo.
I mean, I don't follow the series closely, but it's not really something they had to do. It seems like a big enough moment in the series to justify it's own chapter regardless.

Isutoshi... what's happening, man? The beginning of this manga was great. Battle manga with goofy sex scenes. Now it's turning into this very stupid and horribly placed story. I really hope Isutoshi captures the magic of the manga's opening arc again. It's dragging like crazy.

In non-fairness why did Kaneki apparently take literally no precautions at all?
Like most manga and like already said, the art evolves and gets better than at the beginning. There is also a recently done, redrawn version of chapter 1 that might interest you and that better shows current artstyle. (And oversells it a bit I'd say since it wasn't done on a weekly schedule)
I mean, there was a timeskip of unspecified length. They might have fugged more. (Like during that tiny flashback with Ukina talk ?)

Madoka - MadoHomu Tea Talk (SFW short)
This is just a tea analogy. Madoka Magica is a tea manga. While Homura's 'first flush' preference is well-documented, due consideration has to be given to the appreciation of second flush characteristics. Autumnal is more of an acquired taste. A highly educational short, particularly for someone who'll never drink tea.
If it's a choice between the demon monk not doing his job properly or the princess increasing her body count again, I know what I'd go with!

I assume that the Tire demon is revived and the one that princess have is the "corpse". Same goes with Furoshiki which Princess use them to harvest the nice fabric. they keep getting revive but the fabric itself doesn't disappear

So much text haha. Whew! Wow! That was a lot for one go!
I really like the princes' succession war side plot, so many factors to consider. Also Ging crashing the Pariston team and having to find a solution to one of the 5 calamities, so many things happened in 10 chapters. I'm guessing we're like 10 years away from getting off the boat so I doubt this is the last time I'll have to reread some of this. The boat ride itself should be great though, I'm expecting everything to be settled before they hit the new continent.
Legit not sure if Gon/Killua will ever have a center part of the manga again

Typical novel plot of person dies in real world and is reborn in magic world. Though I guess this is a little different as the MC was an old bad ass secret agent type person and not a typical NEET or whatever. That and he actually has to go through his whole life from the beginning.
It's not amazing, but was interesting enough to keep reading.
