What are the chances of walking into Best Buy today as a schmuck without a preorder and still scoring the MM amiibo? Does anyone know if they get extra stock beyond what people have already reserved?

My store has 9 preorders and 6 available so you might be able to get one. Just make sure you go in when they open. The Skyward Sword amiibo hasn't gone up yet on Amazon has it?

Did Skyward Sword Link ever officially go up yet? Because all I'm seeing on Amazon is 3rd party scalpe..er, sellers offering it for stupidly high prices.

I'm at BB and no one is here. They open in about thirty minutes. I'm wondering if I should go scope out GameStop real quick or just stay here.

I just know that Amazon and Gamestop are going to put up their exclusives when I'm at work. Hopefully not. Managed to snag a MM Link pre-order so that's no issue.

Cross posting from the Canadian Deals thread. Hope your GS stores have more down in the US than we have here.

I'm inside Woodside Square in Scarborough waiting at the EB for Twilight Princess Link. The EB clerk checked the stock for me and they only have 2 extra ones after preorders. I'm the only one here so if anyone is close they should get here quick. They open in 30 minutes.

AlphaTwo's a loser waiting outside in the rain at his EB.

There's only one third party seller on Amazon? There used to be more. I've seen at least 2 then them disappearing then 2 again but I didn't pay attention if they were the same sellers or new ones.

There's only one on the Amazon "official" page. There's quite a few selling "Sky Warred Sword" from Japan.

Curious if it's even worth trying to get to gamestop early. Never tried it before but there are a few nearby. Kinda meh on the TP Link anyway. Like the SS one though.

I'm the only person waiting outside my GameStop right now. Hoping they have an extra Twilight Princess Link amiibo though I'm not getting my hopes up.

EDIT: nope, no extras. Guess I'm screwed on that one.

There's a Gamestop in the mall a few blocks from where I work. I'm pondering ducking out for a few minutes to see of they have any extras in an hour.

Best Buy had 4 Majora's Mask Link to sell. Like 12 people were waiting at the door when they opened, but it looked like only 4 of us wanted Amiibo. Two bolted for the Amiibo section as soon as the door opened, but the Amiibo were in the back and the employee wouldn't even let us take them from him. He brought them straight to the front and we had to get them from behind the register.

Now I need to find another for my boxed collection.

Wave 1 and 2 were the absolute worst. We''re only waiting for the retailer exclusives now. Back then, every amiibo was a pain in the ass.

That sounds terrible.

My daughter wanted the Zelda BOTW amiibo which I was able to get earlier this week and the Skyward Sword link one (bc it looks cool). F5'ing like a crazy person on amazon for this thing.

I easily pre-ordered Wave 1-3 (3 exclusives were annoying), but 4 tops it for the worst, when the pre-orders stopped.

I have been so lucky with amiibo. I pre-ordered 3 out of Wave 1 at a local shop. They convinced me I needed them all. So glad they did! The only two I ever had any problems with were Pit and Mega Yarn Yoshi. I just had to have patience (which is NOT my strong suit) and eventually tracked them down.

Waited in the rain for 2 hours for EB for Twilight Link. Completely failed. I guess I can still count myself lucky with my other preorders.

The only figure in wave 1 that was difficult to get was Marth. Everyone else was readily available in stores for weeks. And even then Marth still had a decent pre-order window.

Wave 2 had fairly long pre-order windows too.

Some have been a little better. Before Breath of the Wild came out, I easily pre-ordered all of the Amiibo like, a couple days after they went up. Then the game came out, and that's when demand hit.

Got my TP Link. Having a friend pickup MM Link for me. Just waiting on SS Link from Amazon

ahhh, i need to in store pick up mm link from best buy and tp link from gamestop but afraid to leave my house and amazon ss link shows up while i'm driving. don't want to check and drive =/
