They could still have some stock left after they go through tickets. If you don't want to wait, you can always just call a little after they open to see if they have any left.
Sundays are always the day to check for switches. All our shipments are held for the following sunday. Been that way almost every week

Ordered a GameStop bundle just now. From people's experiences here, do they typically ship those way before the expected "ship by" date or should I just expect it to ship on that day? It gave me July 12th.

Seems like they should do 1 per person. Also that above poster says Best Buy should be holding them until Sunday..

Dock issue is very real, though. Really depends on your tolerance for that sort of thing, and your dock itself. I take my Switch out from its dock on weekday mornings and put it back at night. That's it, all I've ever done. I'm very gentle with it, no screen protector. I have dozens of scratches. They're all on the bezel and I honestly couldn't care less, but the problem exists.

Depends on the best buy I guess.. I know whenever I used to work there the only time we held something and thats when it releases because the system literally would not let us. They can sell those all they want. Just gonna be angry customers in store sunday if its in the ad

Best Buy doesn't care. He can buy as many switches as he likes. If people were not enabling his behaviour he wouldn't do it.

Got mine from Target today. I called yesterday and they were all out, but were expecting to restock on today's delivery truck. They got 3 in.

Scalpers are pitiful, literally adding nothing of value to society. I know a guy whose full business is buying up concert tickets the instant they release and reselling them at a higher price. He's very proud of his profits.
He buys tickets to shows like Justin Bieber etc where a kids parent will now have to pay out the nose for their kid to see their favorite artist.

Mine was scheduled to ship by the 16th of June. It shipped on the 6th and I got it on the 9th. More likely than not you'll get it before that July 12th date.

Best Buy is so stupid for doing this. From a business and customer standpoint.
They'd get more revenue (accessories, games) if they sell one per person.

So true. When I bought mine at Best Buy I bought a pro controller and Zelda and Mario kart, definitely was better for them than scalping and they will be able to sell out regardless.

I've literally only seen stock of the Nintendo Switch once in the wild, I'm in Edmonton, Alberta and have had mine since launch. But gezzsus after the shortages of the Wii, lack of Amiibo's, NES Classics, do Nintendo shortages in general surprise anyone anymore? Scalpers are the scum of the Earth tho, seriously I feel bad for the average joe trying to get ahold of one of these things.
The system only lets them do 1 sku per person. Sure thats not just their shipment hold, because its all behind the counter of customer service...where we normally hold them. We are under contract with nintendo to hold all the shipments til sunday. So i think the picture is bait.

Not sure if they are still there but if you are in Baton Rouge the college drive Walmart had 3 switch's when I went by earlier. I'm not sure if they are still there but thought I would let y'all know. I would have bought one but don't have the cash.

GameStop at 67th st and 18th ave bensonhurst brooklyn have Switches as I type. Only grey. You can make your own bundle, so that's better than their forced ones. They have 2 more left. No one in the store is currently here to buy them it seems.

Anyone looking for one in western Washington there are 3 in stock at Walmart in Tumwater. I'm here right now and just passed them. I was quite tempted and was even about to buy one but just can't justify it for just one game i want to play ATM (BoTW).
You can't oms the systems and corporate left a memo for all of leadership as well as in the employee hub mentioning that they are not to be sold prior to sunday. Which is the memo almost every week, they even state that its a partnership agreement with Nintendo on holding them.
For fucks sake. Best Buy get your shit together.

Yeah, 1 per person on this should be a rule considering how hard it is to get these things in. If the scalper wants 10 of em, then he/she better do the leg work and get 10 people to the store to buy em at the same time.

I've had my Switch for a couple of weeks now. No screen protector, no scratches, I take it out about once a day or once every other day. Dock is fairly loose. The Switch engages the dock by gravity alone.

Looks like target is restocking in NJ. Just got 1 in Clark nj, they got a shipment of 5, should be 3 left. I think Warren got a shipment too

Check www.istocknow.com, you can setup alerts that will email you once a store in your area restocks. That's how I got mine this morning

I used istocknow to help a buddy in Pensacola find a Switch a couple of weeks ago (got one in the Perdido Walmart). Worked like a charm.

I can't speak for every Best Buy, but if the experience at my store is any indication: Best Buy will have a LOT of Switches tomorrow. I think we got about 12 for MK8 launch (last time I remember them advertising stock), but we have about 20 set aside for tomorrow, and in a strange turn of events, they're majority Neon. We have more Neons than Greys 2:1 for tomorrow. Before they close, it might be worth calling your local Best Buy if you're still looking for one.
EDIT: just checked our internal system... appears to be the case all around us. A huge restock is hitting tomorrow, with Neons:Greys 2 or 3:1 depending on location.
