Two Best Buys by me had no Majora Links and doesn't look like there's any sign of BestBuy.com getting more stock anytime soon. Is gamestop gonna be the same way?

These things sell out fast though and no one had any indication that this was going to be up for Prime members only. I actually tired to get a hold of my brother right away and see if he could order one for me with his account, but it was already sold out by the time he went to order.

Considering the Fire Emblem Amiibo were prime at first. I think it's safe to say that from here on out they'll all be prime first and any left overs will be for everyone else.

Nope. Ironically enough, amazon gives me a free prime trial every year for some reason and I used this years for e3 and its already over with. Atleast I got Fire Emblem Echoes, Ever Oasis, RPG Maker FES, Yomawari 2, DanganRonpa 3, and Super Mario Odyssey on discount + Metroid 3DS so if I have to sacrifice Corrin to save that much I'll take it. (I have others like Hey Pikmin but I can't get the others so I'll cancel them soon.)

Doesn't matter anymore. I fully spent the money paying off RPG Maker so farewell Corrin. Its fine. I really don't have the money for figures anymore. Only reason I can get the above games besides the discount is also because I've pretty much sworn off tv games and have been selling off most of my tv collection. Got my spendings fully mapped out until November. And happy I'm able to get these games.

Really love Corrin, but I'm not gonna bother with Nintendo's BS anymore. I may get a couple common Amiibos like Splatoon 2's Inkling girl or BOTW* if they ever come back but I'm mostly done with amiibo to spend money on games instead.

*In November I mean since I fully have everything mapped out until then. Tho I suppose I could give up Metroid 3DS since that doesn't have a discount for whatever reason if BOTW happen to come in stock in early September lol. But I'm afraid Metroid 3DS will be limited physically. Nintendo has me paranoid. >_>

**I also am getting Splatoon 2 but digitally so no discount.

Why didn't you buy it when it launched more than two and a half years ago when it was just sitting on shelves everywhere? You should've seen the future about how useful and in demand it would be. You have nobody to blame but yourself. /s

That does remind me of when I was looking at play-asia earlier and debating if I wanted to spend $20 on 8-bit Link... The Japanese box image of Smash Link has a thinner white stick. Did the reprint fix the yellow stick, and then just not get released west side or something?

I'm a prime member and I have to say fuck Nintendo, fuck Amazon and fuck scalpers. Yeah, I missed SS Link yesterday. Why the fuck doesn't Amazon let you preorder these things like Best Buy and everyone else does? Especially if they are retailer exclusive.

The Amiibo situation is p. tame here, except for the prices. We still have plenty of BOTW [minus Zelda] Amiibos around and some Pixel Links too. As far as I know, we got plenty of wave 2 30th Anniversary Zelda figures too... As for the prices... Its 500MXN an amiibo (which equals to 27USD, yeech). Older figures are cheaper, its just the new ones that are that bad.

I should take a pic of my local stock and check prices later...

I feel yah, fam. I'm in the exact same boat. Had prime. Was at my work desk. Got distracted for a few minutes. Boom. Too late. It's fucking cruel.

This is probably going to be what I do for the TP one. I'm going to wait a little while though and hope that they get more in stock. $37.13 is the cheapest one on Amazon right now. While I am tempted at that price, I think it might go down some in the future.

EDIT: Cheapest on eBay right now is $32.75.

EDIT 2: The eBay link above seems to be for a pre-order that ships in August. I damn near pulled the trigger until I saw that.

Yea, I think as more scalpers post them, the prices will go down. Also check eBay for American scalpers. Maybe you'll find it for lower prices too cuz sometimes when they flood the aftermarket, some sellers just want to get rid of them asap.

I'm hoping the 30th anniversary restocks happen within next week cuz of the preorder release dates from Japanese scalpers online.

Picked up MM Link in store yesterday, both TP and SS Link are en-route. Only concern is Amazon packaging, occasionally they ship single Amiibo in padded envelopes instead of a box.

The same thing would have happened at preorder time. Only so many people would be able to get them and if you were busy during the time, you'd miss it.

Man, still a bummer one day later. Only 30th Anniversary I was able to snag was the 8-bit Link one.

At least I was able to secure the Metroid 2-Pack and the last Smash wave and their variants. Just gotta wait for female Corrin, who I am now starting to worry about after Amazons handling of SS Link.

If Female Corrin is Prime too I'm not going to bother. I have the figma coming and I'm that big a fan of Corrin to begin with.

Did anyone's Skyward Sword Link come in a bubble mailer? Thankfully not keeping this one in the box, but it did come dented, which makes me concerned for the Corrin one in July. I submitted a complaint to customer service, but don't imagine that will completely fix the issue down the road.

It's going to be a lot harder for me to resist the new Metroid amiibo. Still waiting for those to go up on Best Buy.

Sorry to say this, but they've already gone up on Best Buy. That doesn't mean they won't go up again, but with how all this amiibo crap is going, you never know.

They already went up on BB. Unless you're waiting for them to be sold individually.

I've gotta cut myself off from these things. I've gone for the whole Smash collection plus select others that I like (all the Zelda ones pretty much) and have done damn well, but with Amazon's antics and the exclusives, I fear I may fall in this final battle. I don't think I can do it anymore. Too much money. Too many figures lying around my house

It's a big deal to me! I have all the Smash amiibos and I'll be damned if Amazon fucks up my collection. :(

But yeah, I also have the Figma ordered too. Also, I'm a female Corrin fan. :p
