Ironically Fchamp is cutting back on SFV and wants to seriously train for UMVC3 at Evo. RyanLV has ChrisG's Number IMO but a trained up Champ, maybe a problem.
Also Cloud beats RyanLV free, if he still plays.

KaneBlueriver isnt going to Evo and Viscant hasn't been relevant in UMVC3, so Justin, Flocker, ChrisG and FChamp are really our potential repeat champion options.

- Less than half of the MvC3 roster (15/38) and half of the UMvC3 roster (20/52) is confirmed.

- Out of the fifteen MvC3 newcomers, only six are confirmed to return.
- Of the twelve UMvC3 newcomers, counting rumored characters, half of the Capcom debutants and all but one of the Marvel debutants (Iron Fist) will return.

The FGC at large doesn't seem to know how video game development works or even how businesses are run. There's only a small handful of folks who aren't developers but know enough/have enough insight that are worth listening to such as UltraDavid and James Chen. I think Bornfree knows a thing or two as well especially since he used to work in marketing. But not Velociraptor though. He's made enough bone-headed comments on Best of III and Best of V shows for me not to trust his judgement. (Also there's Event Hubs...)

Can someone explain to me why everyone, for the most part, dislike or have negative things to say about eventhubs? Commonly called Event Scrubs?

Eventhubs generally makes articles that are super click bait. Like they will put up some random unconfirmed rumor with no real basis or just random opinion pieces/polls/tiers/tweets to get activity.

But you can't hate the hustle.

If we were getting an updated UMvC3, then I'd say there would be hope for Doom, since he's already there. MvCI is a new game though, and has to deal with updated licensing issues. To give a recent example: LEGO Marvel Super Heroes was free to have everyone, while LEGO Avengers couldn't have the X-Men/F4 characters.

Did Ryce really explicitly say we're getting F4 characters? I'd like to get an updated word on that.

All I really need is Doom honestly.

Only other F4 character I'm a big fan of is Annihilus, and he's got close to 0 chance of ever making it into any game.

Mole Man is cool. Silver Surfer is alright. The first family is alright
for trash
. Galacta is trash tier.

EDIT: I agree that the vast majority of GAF has no idea how businesses work. Especially websites/channels(twitch, youtube). Witness all the people pointing at the boogeyman of "outsourcing", not realizing that every HD game ever made usually has tons of outsourcing or temporary contractors hired to help finish them.

As far as that scrubs nickname It's pretty rare to see that on Twitter nowadays, but yeah you hear eventscrubs occasionally. Usually it's called that because the comment sections have a lot of, uh, fighting game deplorables. The site is more like a very invested fan site than an official news site, an easy comparison that comes to mind is Bleacher Report vs. ESPN.

I find it amusing that the most vocal people who hate the site tend to be the ones that link to it and/or discuss it quite often though.

I haven't heard anything about the Fox characters in six months. I can only assume they're still on the cards, but obviously with the Marvel Heroes Fantastic Four fiasco anything can happen.

The worst thing EventHubs does is milk a single interview out into several articles just to fulfill an obvious content quota. I'm not even talking exclusive interviews -- they'll take a month old IGN interview and turn each statement into a separate article over the course of a few weeks.

There is a rumor that Fox and Constatin is going to reboot F4 once again, and trying to make Spy Kid-style F4 movie. The rumor broke out like yesterday like 12 hours before the announcement of F4 removal for Marvel Heroes.

Good job. It was pretty cool to read those information. I found it hilarious that they almost brought everyone from UMVC3 additions. I think it's high likely that we might get all three via DLC.

I feel what he's saying, and he's makes a good point about how the legacy isn't being preserved with the roster decisions but man, personally, after playing and watching it, I just don't give a fuck anymore. Maybe it's the time heals all wounds kinda thing, or maybe I've just accepted it. But I'm in it for the gameplay. Not everyone will be, and that's fine, but the gems system altering characters has my mouth watering.

Marvel is being dumb, Capcom is being dumb (c'mon gimme some better characters fam), but at the end of the day, I can take some disappointment as long as the game is fun.

Yeah that stuff will never save a fighting game for me. I'm more there to play with friends and the crossover aspect. At best I get to a medium level if I keep at it. So good gameplay with weak characters won't do much for me.

Combo's a hyper-competitive player, so him seeing characters in terms of toolsets is normal, but that's not how most people see the game.

Thats what this max vid has done for me.

EDIT: Its good to see im also not the only one hoping for 2v2 4player tag. This is literally a game mode that would make me pick this game up.
