Early Access Roadmap Update
Players,

Today I want to update everyone on PLAYERUKNOWN’S BATTLEGROUNDS progress through Early Access. The amount of support and feedback we have received from our community has been incredible. I want to thank you all for your bug reports, feedback and suggestions. As we continue to fix bugs, improve gameplay and add new content, it’s important to for us to deliver you a fully realized and polished Battle Royale experience as we look towards launch.

Over the past few months I have done a lot of interviews, and in many of them, I said we hoped to be out of Early Access six months after we first launched. I’ve come to realize that restricting the window to a specific month could hinder us from delivering a fully featured game and/or lead to disappointment within the community if the launch deadline is not met.

So, we have decided that we are going push the full launch back a bit from the initial six-month timeframe, but want to assure you that we are still planning a full release before the end of Q4 2017.

We will continue to push weekly and monthly updates until full launch as we want to ensure that the game we release is the best version possible. This is why we’re giving a launch window rather than an exact date. We hope this makes sense, and appreciate your understanding.

As always, I want to thank you all for your continued support.

1.0 for a game like this is effectively meaningless but I get why GB has to have a standard. It's going to be hilarious if for some reason it gets pushed back to January and then they have to disqualify it because of their own rules.

It's a bit too Vinny honestly. You don't have to try to force the comedy this hard when the game is already entertaining in itself, I feel that works better in a quick look for some random asset flipped horror game or something.

It kinda feels like both he and Alex have been phoning it in a bit on the Yakuza streams to account for Dan's lack of enthusiasm, but now that you mention it, I did get the same sort of vibe from this stream too.

Can't say I blame the bloke though. It has to be difficult to be entertaining on streams 100% of the time. There are going to be days when you just aren't feeling it and have to fake it for the camera.

Prey is not a good game to watch, sometimes they have a good game and sometimes they don't, I'm not pinning it on Vinny, I appreciate the hustle.

I guess GBWest are building a studio or something.

I feel this is a trap a lot of the youtube/twtich crowd falls into, in that they don't realize just playing the game and reacting naturally is already entertaining and you don't have to pander so hard to the audience. Lately Vinny kind of feels like he's constantly trying to entertain a group of 6 year olds at a child's birthday party.
