I like the Flashpoint news. Pretty clear easy way for them to change the direction of this universe and launch off from the things that work. I wouldn't be surprised if Cavill and Affleck are both recast, but Gadot, Momoa, and Miller stay.

This might purely be the 'upcoming' stuff, as in, currently no script and no footage shot, next to no-one cast. That would explain Aquaman at least.

But that's pretty much been his thing since Flash of Two Worlds in 1961. Barry was only around for 5 years before that.
Yes. Essentially The Flash goes back in time to save his mother, but ends up inadvertently changing the timeline. Long story short, when he returns back to his reality, he finds it's changed in a variety of ways, some big, some small.
Hopefully Warner Brothers will use the story as opportunity to give us a new version of their DC Universe which isn't largely horrendous.
If we're being fair, it will be like the 10th DC movie.

Morgan looks way older than Batfleck already. And why have a female Joker when you already have a pretty good Harley Quinn?

I just wanted a Flash solo flick first before we got into the craziness of Flashpoint.

MCU hit 10 movies before it even got to Age of Ultron, a reboot that soon would have felt as ridiculous as it looks here.
That's actually a good point. It's a violent and depressing timeline. I wonder who will play Subject One. And it's going to be interesting seeing Gal Gadot's Wonder Woman as a villain.
Imagine if Infinity War ends with a reboot and they then get more shit for copying Marvel instead of taking a huge risk to reset their universe
