Going to decide today if I'm going to pick this up at launch, but if I do I'll go PS4 since I can play on PC as well for the same price (I've read on Reddit that the cross Buy works with both digital and physical versions, is this true?)

It all carries over but you need may need to buy it twice for each platform until its free (ive seen conflicting info), sure it will be how Pargon worked.

Don't bother calling Sony CS... they don't have a clue. They'll offer a refund if you want it, or tell you to "wait until tomorrow and see if it's available".

Very helpful.

I'm considering a refund, maybe that will clear the license on PSN... and then I'll just rebuy the cheap version and upgrade when the refund is processed.

Sucks for my friends though. We got screwed for buying the game too early I guess.

It isn't showing up for me either and I preordered a few weeks back.

The CS Rep said it was there, amount and date of purchase... just that it was weird because it's "an add-on" and he wasn't sure why/how that is supposed to work as far as downloading. He said he could do the refund though. Or I could "wait and see" if it shows up "tomorrow or the 25th".

I like the ninja, mostly because I just really like ninjas. The class also has some cool mobility, and there's a female ninja type/look that I just *adore*

For those who are saying they can't pre-load, what region are you in? Sony EU allowed preloads. Sony NA PSN, not so much. I don't have any info on when that will be available, but I promise you'll have the game at launch.

Caveat: I'm not customer service, just trying to be as helpful as I can!

Thanks. I read the FAQ last night and read a few recent posts in Reddit, and there seems to be all sorts of conflicting info. Sort of makes sense though considering that copies aren't out in the wild yet that people have attempted to link between PS4 and PC:

Was an alpha player, and I bought the deluxe pack so I should have access now but I can't download it (took the alpha out a day or two ago since that seems to be the norm for moving to release etc). Hoping it gets fixed here soon.

This looks like an interesting game, I have to read up on the difference between the F2P model and what the founders packs give you. Is there any initial thoughts on how 'free' this is to 'play' really?


I like the overall look / idea though, its like 7 Days to Die minus all the jank, and more fun looking, and I actually enjoy the console version of 7D2D a lot. This looks like it could be fun in the right group.

I'm in NA.

Hopefully that's all it is. I've decided to just wait and see.

Yeah, I'd uninstalled my alpha too and can't redownload either.

Well that makes me feel better that Sony NA didnt allow preorders (not sure if anyone here saying that they were able to preload are in NA) but it seems so weird that the game isnt in my game library or my purchase history.

Next year when it officially launches, yes, it will be f2p. Similar to MOBAs or other f2p games, there are things you can buy or earn with in game currency. Buying a Founders Pack gets you access to the game now, and gets you N amount of the stuff you can buy instantly.

You're saying you can't access it on PC via the Epic Games launcher? Have you hit up CS?

Yeah, it's grayed out saying it's not available for install. Haven't shot a message to CS yet, was gonna give it an hour or so to see if things were just slowly rolling out in waves or something.

If you purchased a pack (any) and played in the Alpha, you definitely should have access now. Please holler at CS. Unfortunately, I can't really do much on my own with that stuff.

What if I purchased a pack but did not play in the alpha?

EDIT: never mind. Just saw the full game went up to download!

Sent an email to CS an hour ago, nothing up yet on my end but I'm not in a huge rush. Thanks for lookin' into it.

I'm assuming that I was in the alpha and will have to purchase something in order to play.

Same here? Was in Alpha and I am getting a 5.2GB download for Fortnite in the launcher and didn't buy a pack. It's gonna take me awhile to download it to find out if I really do have early access.

booted up ps4 version, and cant even connect to the tutorial after multuple attempts. thats just great, there goes my Friday night.

Why are online games consistently unprepared for high launch traffic?

Played a couple missions so far and I'm liking it. It's like a weird cross between Dungeon Defenders and Orcs Must Die. Hopefully there's enough variety to keep it interesting.

Is not just a tower defense game with shooting, is also some funny competitive-cooperative looting game with sort of public quest.

I am surprised because the gameplay is very good. I expect a gimmicky game but this one is pretty solid.

Also they managed to stabilize the servers.

Was able to play for an hour earlier this afternoon, and damn was it fun. Only made it up to level 4 before I had to run some errands.

But yeah, I can see losing myself for hours in this.

After being in development for 6 years there should be quite a bit. At least id hope so.
