Over costed, easily removed and no immediate effect... Another mediocre warlock legendary... Even best case this card will have like 5-6 attack and played way after turn 5.

If it had charge the card would probably be pretty damn good.

I wish Warlock had more cards that had effects when discarding.

Two discards make her probably fine, but ideally I think you want three or four.

I think the main problem is that she seems to support slow warlocks decks but the discard mechanic works better with fast decks. And you're going to have to discard pretty quickly to get her out on Turn 5.

I wish they would stop trying to push Discardlock

Discarding is a core thematic concept for Warlocks. It's not going away, just like they aren't going to stop printing taunt minions for Warrior.

I like the idea of discardlock but nothing they make for it actually solves the reasons it sucks.

It needs cards that you want to discard and ways to fill your hand (discover).

That card is cool I guess but you're just gonna discard it half the time and the deck will still not be good.

She'll probably get discarded before you can play her!

1 star.

It will suck as long as the discard is random, or until they force it to work.

Discardlock worked in the past, they lost PO after they already weren't good enough against Highlander decks.
Right now aggro is experiencing a ridiculous power creep too that make traditional zoo inferior.

It needs more cards like Fist of jarraxas and silverware golem and Melchazars imp.

Shit that is actually useful when you discard. Because discarding suuuuuuucks.

It just can't compete with Egg Druid.

But stuff like Silverware Golem can't be the norm, or else Discard becomes insanely good. That's a free 3/3 on TOP of a card that's already overtuned for its discard feature. If they go in this direction you're basically going to get Aggro Shaman when it got Tunnel Trogg.

Tunnel Trogg was 100% consistent. With Golem you always have a chance of not discarding it as long as you have other non-Golem cards in hand.

Yea I understand. I didn't mean exactly those cards but just more cards that do stuff when you discard them instead of if you're lucky enough not to discard them.

Something like "if you discard this card then X". They could balance X. And even if it was a weak effect it would still be better then then the revealed card and clutchmother

Oh sure. My point is just that MORE cards like Silverware Golem would create a Tunnel Trogg situation.

English translation isn't official
Edit: Oh, Warrior card. Some small chance for potential there, but Warrior weapons really need to be about tempo and control. This will only see play if AoE pings are needed. I could see myself using it in Wild vs. Recruit Paladin.

or any aggro deck really, it even gets ouclassed by aggro murloc paladin nowadays. Losing PO means it lost the reach it got from being able to draw a ton as well.

Murloc Paladin is pretty insane. I've lost on turn 4 to that deck several times. The fact that every card buffs everything else means no answers = early death.

I like the deck kinda because of all the synergies, beyond just murlocs, and divine favour for 4 or 5 is disgusting as always.

Zoolock needs a tunnell trogg to compete these days. All the aggro decks have curves as devastating as trogg into golem.

That's warrior card

Seems meh, but never underestimate whirlwind effect

Seems meh? This card is absolutely bonkers. Better than death's bite and that was arguably the most powerful weapon warrior has ever seen.

Edit: Ignore me I thought it was 4 attack for some reason. I need my coffee.

Still this is a really good card. 2 more whirlwind effects, warriors can't get enough of those especially with ghoul rotating out soon like others pointed out.

You're trading 2 damage on the weapon for an extra whirlwind effect. I would generally prefer the extra 2 damage for better board control.

It's not better than Death's Bite but it honestly still seems really good to me. Warrior could use more ways to deal with flood than Brawl. I think Control Warrior definitely wants a card like this.

While everyone is shitting on the lock legendary, I haven't given up on it just yet. If there is a spell or minion that allows you to control your discards and play a longer game with discard lock, this card can be pretty good. I've played a lot of discard warlock and the deck is close to being viable it just really needs a discard control mechanism.

What if the Warlock Hero Card is for Discard? :(

Pretty much, Deathbite used to eat everything from Drakes to belchers. it was insane.
It still is in Wild. :)
Maybe I'll keep that King Mosh 🤔🤔🤔

Turn 10, kill your opponents board if you're behind and get a 9/7.
It's weird that Drake + Fishes is common, but not Mosh + Whirlwind.

the more I think about that weapon its seem better and better

its like Jade Claw power lever in controlling the board
My concern is that by turn 4 most aggro decks don't have anything to ping anymore. The best aggro decks buff your board.

4 dmg with fishes
3 dmg with drake
2 dmg with ghoul/whirlwind
Destroy minions with king mosh/xecute
Buff grommash and bloodhoof

Perfect curving out with acolyte too. Yeah this card is a 2 of in CW. Now to wait till jades rotate out so CW is playable again.

It's weird that Drake + Fishes is common, but not Mosh + Whirlwind.

It's because Drake is a very strong card without fishes and king mosh does nothing without an activator.

Unless Warlock gets an insanely efficient one-drop that scales with discard I don't think we're anywhere near a Trogg situation.

Yeah don't forget how just a couple whirlwind effects can make a frothing berserker from a 2/4 into like a 8/2 pretty quickly. Plays like that turn games around and put the end game in sight quite fast.

Also worth noting that the 4 drop slot for CW is basically completely barren. It's just bloodhoof brave and that's not an auto include card.

Warrior weapon is amazing, it curves perfectly with frothing berserker and acolyte of pain, also works as an double aoe, plus the single objective that you will be using with the weapon

10/10

Warrior weapon at 4-mana is the lowest cost they could make for a weapon with those stats and text. Good card, I think it may end up being nuts.

Warlock Legendary risks being discarded like every other card that doesn't gain a benefit from being discarded itself in the forced meme of Discard Warlock.
