I'm way too sensitive towards input lag i can't even deal with vita remote play being 3 feet from my PS4/router. Add the fact my router/modem is downstairs from the TV the input lag is just too awful for me.

Steam link is fine if i want to play jrpgs but i can't play overwatch, pubg, cs:go etc. with it.

Router and modem are both downstairs i have tried Ethernet hubs and stuff and it's never good enough. I am doing some home renovations this year i am going to try to get some cat6 cables through my wall upstairs to keep the router up there since all my stuff is wired downstairs. Then i can run a ethernet from the router to the steamlink.
