Goku trying to sabotage his universe by continuing to let people get stronger, Beerus is going to faint when Goku somehow remembers he had a senzu bean on him and gives it to Jiren, GP allows it cause it wasn't to help his team.

Am I the only one that has noticed 17 has been very observant of his opponents' techniques ?

With that Ki sword, he was interested in it, and then he said he studied Kankusa's style, and if you notice, when he got serious, he used the exact same attack pattern she did.

I'm thinking they might make 17 a copy cat character.

Which is amazing, I suggested that back then, but I thought he'd do it with his barrier absorbing powers maybe. He just does it instinctively which is pretty cool too.

A Pretty Panda

fuckin' called it, man

Was nice knowing you, Tenshinhan.

But I thought Gohan was being super smart by fighting as a group since it's about survival.

Would love to see another Beerus Hakai before U7 is erased.

Well there's a time dilation theory that says you would age slowly in space away from Earth's gravitational field or something like that. Note that they are fighting in an area that is called the void which has no time or space.

I don't wanna think too much about this so yeah... 39 mins to go!

That doesn't work like you think it works.

In short: Time would dilate in realtion to Earth (or any one starting planet/point you pick).

So, let's say I travel to Andromeda. On Earth X amount of time passed during the entire journey. For me, when I returned to Earth the time that had passed in relation to it (Earth) would be X+Y (note: the actual equation is actually more complicated than this and takes into account a few more things).

However, if the focus of this was just me, regardless of how long/short the journey had been, the time that had passed in relation to myself would only be Y (much like to Earth and only Earth, it would just be X).

So, time dilates yes, but it's only important if you're taking a point in time/space into consideration to compare to another to begin with.

So, with this theory, 48 minutes (or however long the tournament is supposed to be), aka our X, would be the time that ha passed for anyone there, but for Earth (or any other planet) it could very well be X+Y assuming real life physics (which, again I'm simplifying a lot here).

----

An even simpler example is how GPS's work. They're already far enough from Earth (though still in orbit) that they NEED to account for it in order to correctly tell you were to go, at what distance you are, how much time you may take, etc. This is important for cars, but vital for planes for example. This is explained by Relativity.

----

But since it's DB, nope, none of that exists or happens :p

The focus on Gohan and Piccolo vs U10 in the next episode makes it seem like 17's fight will be interrupted imo

Indeed.

They wouldn't have an entire episode dedicated to Gohan while U2's number 1 and 17 are going all out.

And before jobbing 17 has to be seen at least trying first.

I need to read more about it but yeah the DBS writers probably don't really care about all these things.

Also now I think Jiren is worst new OP character in the show. Seriously, what an awful personality.

Oh, the disappointment...

A great clash, and then she's gone. Just like that.

Fuck me, I can't be happy about this. Sorry, 17 fans, but this is not the way I wanted things to go.

Don't worry I have enough satisfaction for the both of us.

At least be grateful the other moron is still in base and refuses to take out the yellow girl.

17 was cold AF. Amazing.

Vegeta just being like nope fuck this was hilarious too. Good episode. I neeeeed the next one already. And then the one after that. Etc.

I dont think they ever run like that in cell saga

I am surprised she survived that, and the wing lady not being paralized on that hit on her spine

The wolves survived a blue Final Kamehameha and the cat girl hit her head at full speed on the Kaishin.

They're just not gonna kill anyone until "the kill" happens and has a double elimination.

At least wolf magic girl and bat girl are together now <3

Yup. They did the same tease with Goku vs Jiren a few episodes ago so 17's definitely not out yet

I have so little to look forward to now.

I don't like watching Kale or Caulifla because the writers/directors/planners/whoever have grievously mishandled them, with Kale's characterization in particular being paper-thin thus far.

Ribrianne has almost no chance of being anywhere close to Jiren's level, so that's a no-go, and obviously her smaller and less-powerful friend has even less of a chance of getting a decent shot at anyone.

That leaves fuck-all for female fighters for the rest of the ToP's running time. Just a constant train of disappointment for me.

Mind you, that's not to say that I don't appreciate us finally having female fighters that are actually getting to mix things up for once. I just wish the whole thing was better handled (like I wish the ToP was better handled in general, really).

Yeah, the yellow girl is alive because want to play with his opponents

Ribrianne uses magic so who knows maybe she will last more than we thought, I hope, pls.

I don't even like 17 and I enjoyed the hell out of 17 in this arc so far. I'm just disappointed we likely won't see a TFS version or if we do not for a very long time.

Really fun episode. Cool that 17 finally got a moment to shine, but also a shame that it came at the cost of knocking out two characters that are more interesting than a Broly clone with a controlled form.

U2 characters are great and need to stick around for future stories.

That said, episodes like this continue to make me believe that the whole Universe erasing thing was a mistake. Super is at its best when it's not taking itself too seriously, and even throughout this arc its feeling like an afterthought, its been too goofy making moments when the serious part of it is actually brought up feel off.

Hey, first of all, it seems clear 17 and Brianna will be somewhat evenly matched. I believe they won't fight now, this will happen later down the line.

Brianne disposed of SSJ Vegeta easily in their little brawl. She won't go down that easy and I'm sure she'll be one of the strongest.

But there's also 18 that's a good female, and there's the mage too.

Sadly I'm afraid Kale and Caulifla both stole any other girl's time to shine :/ .

That face of disgust vegeta makes when hes about to punch ribrianne, can someone gif that. Its freaking perfect.

Also Jiren's moment was short but awesome, dude didn't want any more of that love shit, was going to one shot ribiranne

Maybe if we're lucky we can get some TFS super shorts

OT, I thought this episode was fantastic mostly the 17 bits. I love how different he is from the rest of the characters, he's quiet, calm, pragmatic, and really easy going. The dude basically gives no $%^$ at all and I love him for it.
