It sounds like you're in the right room, but it doesn't sound like you're looking at the right panel. If you've ever built dragon keys, the BPs are multi use, so you may still have them in your foundry.

Best way to get to the lab is to use the transporter. There's one just a few feet away when you spawn.

That was the issue, I check 3 panels which all seemed to have the same thing but missed the fourth that had it, thanks!

Now for my next noob question, I did the requirement and it gave me a "Torid Croni-Hexado" with MR 8 at the bottom.

I'm currently mastery 9 but I cannot see the mod when I try to add it to any weapon

Because the mod is for the Torid weapon

Use the mod console on your ship to look at it. Also as shiki said rivens are weapon specific.

thanks, finally found the dispositions through the wiki

I couldn;t find a "torid" primary in the market because it is in our dojo

I'm slowly (very) figuring it out..

Can I get an invite to the clan? My PSN is Akai_XIII.

Started the game a few days ago, really enjoying it. Just got the Archwing parts. I only have Frost and Excalibur at the moment, Frost is pretty good - like a mix of Striker and Defender Titan from Destiny.

Is there any in game way to get more Plat?

Trading prime parts, mods and certain weapons can give you decent plat, if you have PSN Plus there is a starter pack that grants you 100 plat plus weapons and a skin

you can also use real money to buy plat

So I played a little more with Valkyr, and, she's much better once fully levelled.

Also levelled Rhino Prime, Nekros, Frost and Frost Prime over the past couple of days along with some weapons.

Seer pistol sucks balls.

I usually stick to the thrown secondary weapons, primarily Despair, however I levelled Gamacor(?) and I find it helluva fun to use.

Primary wise I levelled Latron Prime, not bad but the reload sucks so need to mod it out, Strun, the shotgun sucks. Also finished off Paris, but it's not as good as Dread imo.

Basically ended up levelling 3 or 4 weapons of each type and some frames.

Next to level is Vauban, Banshee and Volt.

Weapons wise I don't really know what to go for next. I feel that apart from the thrown stuff and Gamacor, so far the secondary weapons are kinda underwhelming. Not found anything else that I like, got Embolist cooking just now so maybe try that out.

Thinking that paring Ember with Ignis, Embolist and Dual Ichor could be fun!

I'm a little disappointed with the current focus lens situation, considering it's such a big deal, having it tied to just one frame seems kinda restrictive, especially when you're encouraged to use all different frames/weapons. Hopefully they change this or at least make the lenses easier to get, or I just need to pull my finger out and get "The War Within" quest completed!

For secondaries you should grab a Sonicor if haven't. Staticors pretty rad too, but that really needs at least a potato, and a forma or 2. There's prob a bunch of other effective stuff as well, but I tend to lean towards the funkier kind of weaponry as opposed to regular pistols and the like.

Lense wise, my problem with them isn't so much it being tied to one thing (though that can be annoying), it's more so the focus trees themselves need a good hard looking at. The whole systems a bit of a mess

Changed my opinion, Harrow after a forma has grown on my.

Still less useful than a Trinity but more fun to play as the abilities have "synergy".

Hope they rework Thurible to energy restored based off of damage instead of kills or kills by the party. I end up spending more of my own energy to cast it and the longer I wait for the potential better reward the less mobs there are to kill.

Doesn't need to be as silly OP as a EV Trinity but I think it is pretty weak atm

Ah yes, I remember looking at that one and wondering if it were any good as it looks kind funky, wrist mounted just like Gamicor.

I will try it out, thanks :)

I think Harrow shines solo than in a group , if you are undergeared harrow suffers a lot and only skill 1 and 4 are useful without external help.

Try to use Natural Talent (mod) to reduce the casting, the healing can be triggered by damage but energy is kills only so you have to focus on a pretty good weapon to use skill 3.

Try Ignis wraith , its cone of damate can snatch some good kills and decent damage

Clan Invite sent. Welcome!

Frost predates Destiny by 2 years...and all that that implies. ;)

Selling stuff in game is your best option. My suggestion for casual players is to focus on selling stuff from Syndicates and getting access to sorties as soon as possible to sell rivens. Both are pretty easy to flip and give you enough plat to keep you in slots and occasional cosmetics. I also sell plat to clan members occasionally. PM for details.

Agree on the wraith for Harrow. It's also surprisingly easy to get accidental head shots for that sweet multiplier, when your spraying it into a pack

Could I get a clan invite? PSN's SeraphisCain (same as GAF name but without the space). I was actually in the clan previously, but must've gotten booted for inactivity, heh.

So Drift mods, is it worth sinking a few hours into this to farm them all?

I use power drift (strength) and cunning drift (range) quite a bit. Power is the room where you charge four orbs on the wall (super ez). Cunning is the eyeball fight from whichever quest...second dream, I think. There are good YouTube vids for both.

I also have a weird Loki build for opening rivens by headshots during aim glide. Stealth drift for that one. Also very easy.

Invite sent.

I had to kick an MR5 who was offline for 14 days to make space. Those under MR10 are on a fairly short leash for inactivity, but getting back in is easy enough.

Running that Catalyst alert and got a Condition Overload. Didn't even know what it did since it was added during my last (very long) break from the game. Check after the mission was done and apparently it sells for a good bit of plat and also holy shit I'm putting this on my melee Valkyr build right now.

Yeah, I get ya. I mean, I'll probably stop playing again at some point and you'll have to boot me again. :lol

Speaking of MR, it's starting to hit me that I'm probably playing the game wrong since I'm a bit over 100 hours in and still only MR7 (well, MR6, but I'm only a hair away from 7 so y'know).

I admittedly haven't given it a shot yet but some of the challenges for these veiled mods seem kinda ridic lol. Like "Complete a defense with level 30 or higher enemies with the defense objective taking no damage without using energy consumables."

Frost bubble and Zenistar might work, no energy consumables seems harsh.

Farming harrow sucks. I've been trying for the systems forever...

Defection sucks...
Its an interesting, if complicated idea.

But it thoroughly sucks to have to defend and escort AI while A: Hoping for drops to heal them, and B: the preponderance of Infested eximus units to drain your energy throwing a lot of build ideas (good luck squishy frames) out the window.

Are all the riven mods as obnoxious as those? Seems a bit much to be bothered with unless you can get a group of 4 Gaffers and just go AFK while they do the business 😂

Just started this up. Enjoying it but still trying to wrap my head around a lot of it lol.

Edit: So I'm understanding correctly, I should drop my starting Platinum on 2 (?) more Warframe slots as my top priority correct?

Also with mods I'm just doing auto-equip right now, should I just be selling my extras?

Don't do auto equip!!! Well, it's prob ok starting out but you'll need to optimize at some point and start doing them yourself.

And correct. Get slots, particularly if your interested in checking out other frames. If your on ps4, there's also a PS+ starter pack that has 100 plat and some other odds and ends. It's free, if you're with ps+, so totally worth it.

Yup Warframe slots...including all of your PS+ platinum. It should get you 7 slots for a total of 9. You'll need that to check out frames, and none of your early weapons are worth keeping around (though some are used to build other weapons, so look into that). Ask here about which frames to seek out and definitely before you delete any.

Yeah I think its the extra steps harrow has to take to get his shit going that makes him not mix well with nukers. He needs mobs to stay alive and be effective. You essentially need to cast penance or thurible, use his 1 to hold the targets in place and then headshot them to build up your resources. That doesn't work well when people bring frames and weapons that will clear a room in an instant for everything that isnt level 100+. Its like the same weakness nidus has but in his case, he doesn't lose progress except when he dies and loses 15 stacks. Chances are if you're using Nidus's 1-3 powers, you're giving up a few stacks to get things started but you always come out ahead if you have enough mobs to hit with his 1 and 4. I still like Harrow though and his 1 is incredibly useful. I love warframes with solid-ass 1's and harrow, nidus, inaros fit that category. Mag is probably the exception she has a great 1, but everything else is rendered quickly ineffective or relies on a gimmick to make it work.

PSN is Reservebelg, play during EU hours.

I think my biggest issue with Warframe, and I can't believe I'm still having this problem over 100 hours in, is feeling overwhelmed and directionless. Like, I've got plenty of frames (Excalibur, Valkyr, Saryn, Vauban, Ivara, Frost Prime, Nyx Prime, and a Volt Prime in the forge right now), and I'm not really hurting for gear or anything, but I just never feel like I know what to do at any given time. Does anyone else ever feel like this, and if so how do you rectify it?

Play raids, do sorties, climb MR and Syndicates for their sigils and wares

I am MR 24 and so far there are only raids and sorties to play so I go play other games

I suppose I really should focus on climbing MR. 100+ hours and I'm only MR7. Feels rather low for that much time put in. Ugh.

I haven't even tried a Raid and I've hundred of hours in and am MR22. Right now I'm mostly focused on getting all that the the left 3 Syndicates have to offer. So far I've got all the syandana and at least 1 weapon from each. Once I'm done with those I think I'm going to hold off switching back to the other side until after POE, just in case more offerings are added.

If you start grinding away at the Orokin missions for prime parts, those hours will melt away into the abyss. I know from experience...

Finished the tutorial questline stuff with Vor, ended with my Excalibur at level 6. Skimmed some newbie guides and got myself a Braton for 25k credits. Saw some timed event thing happening on Earth for Extraction on Earth that claimed to be level 5-10 so was like sure. Shit was real as fuck, luckily there we 3 other players in that level 20+ so we were able to clear it. I came awfully close to dying but didn't and feel like I actually helped a decent amount although the later enemies got kinda crazy. My frame and both guns skyrocketed up to levels 11 and 12 lol. Feeling like I start to understand the game a little bit.

At this point should I just be selling shitty mods I don't need, or do I need to worry about saving them for upgrading others? And I guess I need to re-do the last tutorial quest with Vor because the guide I was looking at recommended crafting the Chronus as an upgrade to the Skana but it looks like I must have missed picking that blueprint up, I don't have it :(

Also where can I see how many warframe/weapon/etc slots I have? I bought two (?) extra warframe slots with platinum but no idea where I see any of that.

Edit: Oh, you can't replay story quests apparently, that's great. Well then, any recommendations on what weapon I should buy upgrading from the default Skana? lol

You'll be plowing through low level stuff in no time. No worries.

Mods: Keep them for now. The credits/endo you get for them isn't worth the risk you take of accidentally getting rid of something you need. Also make note of your "broken" mods, and don't put any resources into them. Maybe just get rid of them.

Slots: Look in your inventory under warframes and weapons to see your open slots. You also have the option to buy them in that menu.

Cronus: Drops from Capt Vor on Tolstoj Mercury. You may have to kill him a few times before it drops, and this will be a theme throughout the game. http://warframe.wikia.com/wiki/Cronus

Answer to edit: Buy the MK1 melee weapons for credits, level them up, and dispose of them. Because slots are limited, it's to your advantage to level up lesser weapons first.

I found the slots right after I posted >_>.

By broken mods do you mean damaged ones? I have a fair amount of those. On the main mod screen is there any way to see what mods are currently equipped onto something? Seems kinda odd that it doesn't appear to indicate that. Also weird that you can't seen how much Endo you have anywhere except in the mods section (I figured it would have been in your inventory somewhere with all of your other resources). Also at this point is it actually worth upgrading mods? I saw to unlock the next junction I had to get a mod up to rank 2 so I did that for my Health + 40% which took it up to 80% which obviously seems good, but not sure if it's worth the Endo spend at this point to level up my Shield one and any other seemingly worthwhile ones I have like AR damage +10% etc.

Also what would be the point of leveling up the MK1 weapons then tossing them, or you mean I should be doing that just to get my MR up? Oh okay I see your edit, makes sense.

On that screen, when a mod is equipped, it will be separated from your duplicates. So it might show one Vitatlity and then another bunch of 10 Vitalities. The one is equipped on something.

Leveling up Vitality is fine as long as it isn't damaged, but don't focus too much on defense. The best defense is killing shit as quickly and efficiently as possible. It's a very offensive game.

Your main focus right now should be on getting and leveling up your basic mods for Range (Stretch), Duration (Continuity), Strength (Intensify) and Efficiency (Streamline). Those are the four elements you'll be balancing in your frame builds. You'll get other mods to push those elements further as you progress. For your weapons, don't get caught up in clip size, reload or anything like that. Focus on base damage for now...Serration for rifle and Hornet Strike for secondary. You won't get a decent shotgun for a little while, so hold on that.

Thanks for all of the help, I appreciate it!

Is the difference between damaged and non-damaged mods just how many fusion levels/potential they have?
