I like it a lot too, easily my favorite of the buildable figures line. Lots of interesting ways to position the arms, looks great fighting several other figures at once - even if it doesn't make sense in a Star Wars context.

LEGO friends, I come to you with the most important of questions.
I just got a sweet used LEGO from eBay, and the pieces are sticky/gross as well as a little dirty looking. Is there a preferred way to wash pieces off?

Yeah we ordered a few bits from bricklink to make it work, but if you just take off the final 'broken' piece at the end it's pretty much ready to go
We modified ours to remove some of the play features like the break away sections etc and also to make the towers taller as we wanted trains to run over the bridge.

Warm water and a little liquid soap, either in a tub or just a recipient depending on how many pieces.
Of course, desassemble it first. Take care of pieces with stickers, those have to be cleaned by hand otherwise the stickers will fall.
Change the water to remove the soap.
Let the pieces dry over a towel, but not under direct sunlight. And turns the bigger pieces around from time to time, so drops of water will not be stucked on the studs.
That is what I do.

I believe its color is bright blue. There are many different print lower part of the minifigures in bright blue. If you want the plain one, it is number 9341.

I'm planning on doing that too. My first second hand set (a mid-scale Millenium Falcon), some plates are a bit sticky, nothing too bad though. I am thinking about using wet wipes.
In addition to what others said, you can "tap tap tap" the pieces with water deep inside them onto a towel on a countertop of table to get the excess water out to speed up the dry time, and avoid hard water deposits forming on or in the parts.

Thanks to the people who mentioned how to clean them. They're gonna get a nice warm water a little soap bath before I rebuilt the set!

As much as I really want the Bounty I wouldn't be able to build it right away and really want the Fishing Store on the 1st. With double VIP thats like $15 but i'm sure at some point its probably going to be on sale for less than $145 so I can wait.
So it looks like Green Mech Dragon tonight maybe with some Ninjago CMF. I'm not going to get all the CMF from that line but theres a couple I would love to get randomly.

Unless the pictures are inaccurate, the prints on these are different from both of the CMF releases. Cave woman looks very similar, but with colors changed. Cave man however looks very different.

Wondering whether to start mine - I tend to (a) be slow, (b) only build on weekends and (c) work in hour/two hour stints, and as such it'll take me several weeks - but I'm going on holiday in late September and am not sure it'd be done by then!
Also have half a feeling I probably ought to do Temple Of Airjitzu first. Just to keep the theme ongoing!

The official line is he never intended to take the role for a long time due to his age.

For the rumoured price, they should add a (complete) figure set for every movie. ANH Han, Leia, Luke and Obi in their attire, Empire Strikes Back Han, Leia in their snow outfit. ROTJ with Lando. And then the TFA crew with Old Han and Rey and Fin and BB. CHewie can be the same for every line up. Lol

I haven't been too impressed with leaks of upcoming SW sets. I am glad I am not a MF fan cause I don't think there would be a single place in my home to put it except on our island where we cook. I know we don't have dimensions but safe to say it will be huge.
Has there been any video or pictures on how Ninjago city can connect to modular buildings?

The LEGO site is all sorts of jacked up this morning. On two different computers/two different locations:
- When I try to place an order pictures don't load for my cart

I am kinda expecting this also. But the wave 2 sets will hit in December I believe, so we wouldn't have to wait forever.
It will be strange to see all the TLJ sets hit this year and then the Han Solo sets showing up in like March or April next year. I can't imagine many of the current sets keeping shelf space too much longer. Y-Wing has to hit clearance sooner or later.
Edit: given the circumstances, I'd bet TLJ Leia could be just as lucrative as Old Luke.
Be careful with that processing page. That page was still up and I opened another tab and checked my email and had got an order confirmation.
Watch, they will probably include only Han, or maybe Han and Chewie. Maybe with some special more detailed printing on them like the Boba Fett that came with his UCS. And nothing else.

I left the "Processing your order" page up for like 10 minutes and nothing changed. I opened the Shop site again on a seperate tab and my order said "In Process", so I assumed it went through and I closed it.
It's listed as "In Warehouse" now so I think I'm okay, but I appreciate the heads-up/looking out

Started Destiny's Bounty. For those worried about finding the time, the build is split into so many different sections that each one will probably take only 10-15 minutes, if that, so it'd be an easy thing to build with a few minutes here and there! I'm sure this is reasonably common but I'm used to 3-part modulars or small stuff so seeing bags with "15" on is new to me!

I just watched Jang's review of the Lightning Jet and it looks awesome! It's really strange with all the rods, but it looks like a Ikaruga fighter at the same time. I might even want to change the colours eventually.
What's really neat is that it has a REALLY good price. With 876 parts I was prepared for it to be 899 SEK. Nope, 649. I still haven't seen them on TRU which are pushing for lower prices currently. If I get it at 500 or so, I'll probably jump on it.

Some guy at eurobricks forums is confirming that the next licensed minifigure series (after TLBM series 2 ans Series 18) is indeed Harry Potter themed.
I may be out of the loop, but I was hoping they'd do a 40th anniversary series with updated versions of older iconic minifigs, Spacemen, Redbeard, Basil the Batlord, Johnny Thunder, Rock Raiders, Alpha team etc.
