I've been low-key mad about this shit for a while. Like, people here defend meth heads more than a balanced person who happens to smoke and its veil is so fucking thin. I have nothing but crocodile tears whenever someone wants to feel all sorry for victims of this epidemic. Where was our support and national response?
It is also annoying because most of these meth heads back here are coked up and decide to fucking drive and cause near crashes, crashes, or just clogging up roads in already clogged up roads. Some wonder around in parking lots and beg for money for food just to go running back to their dealer. It's nuts! I never thought I could get angry about addicts until I started living near Sacramento.
Black people use a more harmless drug and get jailed or even killed but we have a soft spot for when white people get caught up in some drug crisis? Fuck outta here man.
I'm all for victimless crimes going away and attacking drug problems directly instead of throwing every drug user in jail but this is outrageous and so fucking transparent. This would have been business as usual if the majority of the victims were black and we all know it.

That's a real good post and it's so true. White folks in general don't give a damn about a problem happening to black folks until it happens to them, then they start whining about it like it's happening to them for years. Wahh. Oh please. If anyone deserves to cry, it's the thousands of black people that suffered due to drug abuse, racist sentencing and the war on drugs in general.
I'll give a damn about a white person having an opioid addiction when the black people who suffer too get the same treatment the white folks will get.
But the day that happens is the day black folks stop getting treated like target practice or a stat or a money bonus for jailing from cops, the justice system gets pulled from the roots and sorted, republicans officials stop trying to fuck us over, hate speech and hateful organizations get shut down hard. But if that ain't a pipe dream though....
