I feel like there's a hilarious web miniseries of trying to teach the various teams to open champagne waiting to be made.

I am happy for kuro even if this isn't the result I wanted. He's been around and working hard since I started watching dota at ti3 and I have some great memories of various plays of his.

I wish the finals had been better, there were so many good moments this tI and a great finals would have been a nice cap on the event. Still, it feels like ti itself, the atmosphere, the silly suit mmr ratings on reddit, the general hype on streams and forums was as good as ever and that is just as important as the finals.

Also there was amazing earthshaker play and I am never gonna be disappointed when that occurs.

Like many others I was hoping for a better set of Grand Finals. Liquid had that DC like magic though and just got better throughout the tourney. Teams couldn't figure them out and that's probably the best place to be by the time Ti rolls around.

Favorite series of mine would probably be the LFY/Newbee matchups.

Really speaks to how good the patch is right now that a team can win just with great teamplay and being good on such a variety of heroes. So many good options for Liquid in just about every position made it almost impossible for teams to deal with it.

Congrats to them and all their fans, what a great run.

Hopefully he gets really boned up on DOTA and the competitive scene in the next 12 months. I like Day[9] as a personality a lot more than ReDeYe or Machine but he was pretty bad overall this year.

he's exactly what Dota has needed for a long time and has gained an impressive amount of knowledge in a single year of playing. furthermore he did just fine hosting and filling time. let him have some time to get better and he will be even more solid.
