Uncharted: The Lost Legacy - Review Thread

Great scores for what was meant to be dlc, those reviews that mention it doesn't move the series on surely they are expecting too much from what was a dlc chunk and a year later from four?. Dat season pass paid off in the end though.

Did the season pass come with the LE?

The Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End Libertalia Collector’s Edition does not include Uncharted: The Lost Legacy. Access to Uncharted: The Lost Legacy is only included as part of the Digital Deluxe Edition, Triple Pack, or Explorer’s Pack.

Haha from the Gamersyde footage. Looks like they listened that complaint.

How are the set pieces and pacing? I love the series but 4 bored me to death at times with its more grounded approach.

Listening to KindaFunny's impressions, they like it but seem kind of down on it in their speech. Nadine sucks, set pieces are basically recycled from 4, re-using the rope/crate/sliding, not a great beginning or end. "Worst Uncharted, but still really good" I'd say is the summary there. Took them 7-8 hours.

Here is a review from a croatian site FFA, rated it a 90/100 must play for all Uncharted fans. Great set pieces, characters, puzzles and pacing.

Yeah, but Greg is also gonna try and convince you the Vita game is better than UC1. Eww.

Very solid reviews! It's crazy to think we're getting another (pretty much) full-length and fully-fledged Uncharted just a year after 4. I can't wait for next week!

It isn't a part of any physical edition. You have it only if you bought the DDE or the Pass itself.
The Digital Deluxe edition was such a bargain, I pre-ordered that version as soon as they announced there was going to be new single player DLC. I was so happy paying £64.99 when I thought it was only going to be a couple of hours or so of DLC but the fact that it's turned into what is essentially a full game and I now also get the first Jak & Daxter on PS4 is absolutely incredible value. 😁

I'm so glad the game is only 8 hours. It would even be better if it was 6. I don't have time for all games to be 15+ hours.

Seriously it's the best part of the reviews to me.

The Season Pass doesn't include Jak:

What's the consensus, action packed and well paced like Uncharted 2 or slow like Uncharted 4?

Honestly, expected something closer to a 91-92 from a high pedigree studio like Naughty Dog. Sort of like the Witcher 3 situation
Witcher 3 - 92
Hearts of Stone - 90
Blood and Wine - 91
I guess they didn't feel like putting in as much effort as CDPR, maybe busy with TLoU 2 and everything. That's a little disappointing

You're so edgy, yo. Way to show all the people praising the high scores how ultra cool you must be. Who cares what everyone thinks. You rule, dawg.

Yeah I'm cool and it's not because of this.

86 average, man you have a high bar. :p

it's not what I say, Uncharted games tend to be overrated, Uncharted 4 is a mediocre game with a very high meta score, the DLC has a lower score, I'll pass, 86 meta is a really great score otherwise.

And you are somehow the new metric?

I said I'll pass!!! I'm not saying: Guys take my opinion as some kind of God words and don't get it...

Some people loves Uncharted 4, they'll probably like the DLC, I found UC4 mediocre, boring and under what Naughty Dog can deliver, the DLC has a worst reception than it, I'll pass, that's it.

If you found Uncharted 4 to be boring and mediocre then what was the point of entering a thread regarding it's spin off?

Because despite strong reviews you're still downing it, so you never truly had interest, no matter how high the score was.

This is a pretty dumb thing to post. Who are you to say one studio didn't put in as much "effort" as another studio when 1. they're completely different games and 2. you haven't even played the game yet

''it didnt get a 90 average? those lazy ass devs''

what the hell is wrong with some of you guys...

I was just messin' (as the title of my previous post says) but idk. Just because you have a cool avatar doesn't mean you're cool. Gotta prove yourself before you move yourself onto that pedestal from which you call one thing mediocre and say pass to another, even though most of the reviews say it was what they wanted that first thing to be.

I don't even. I guess CDPR didn't put much effort into their games until Witcher 3 then. Also Hearts of Stone is not worty of it's meta score but that is of course just my opion.
