Anybody?
I'm stuck in Patterns in time, after completing 3/3 mercenary, Im tasked to talk with Mercenary guild representative. Waypoints leads to nothing.
There's a waypoint in galactic map that leads to nothing and there's a mission icon on the system next to mine, went there, but mission icon gone and it says open galactic map to locate where you should be going.
Just posting this full thing for this page in case anyone else happened to be in your shoesI FINALLY FOUND OUT how to solve it.
Go back to the system they sent you. The reason why the waypoint goes to nowhere is because it's way too far.
According to the notes, this has been fixed in that it won't happen to people anymore going forward, but if you are already victim to the bug they are still working on a fix.Can anyone confirm the path fixed one of the story quests?
The one where you can't base teleport back to Artemis after building the mind arc

Thing is, the new 1.3 update increased prices significantly. So assuming it was intended, there's clear opposite intention for Freighters to be even more difficult to acquire.Yeah there really is no excuse. Game's been out for a year they've had to have seen the data. It just makes no sense why they cost that damn much. Let the hard-core nerds have the ships easily but allow us "normal" players to spend a few hours and pick one up.
Placing related tech upgrades touching one another in your inventory amplifies their effect.
NPC base missions requiring you to destroy a depot should no longer send you to a destroyed depot

Mine cost just 11 million in v1.2 but now it's worth 55 million, meaning it would probably cost me 60-65 million now.
The most expensive ones are still in the 100-200 million range though, so they didn't increase by the same percentage amount but closer to the same fixed amount.
I also found a new ship but I don't think it could be worth to fix. It was a class c fighter with more slots than the starter ship but mostly of them were broken. Is there any way to fix the ship before having to transfer your items to it? What will happen to my starter ship if I decide to fix the other one?

I mainly had an issue with the thought that you could get to buying one within a few hours, so apologies there I misread.

No worries at all. I should have been more clear. I in no way think freighters or expensive ships should be available to buy early game. But with a game like this where it takes a serious real-time investment to make money... pricing is absolutely absurd. There is no way we should have to spend dozens and dozens of hours simply farming resources or trading to be able to purchase these.
Yeah it's just ludicrous. Some have said it now can take an hour to make what, a million or two without a lucrative materials farm? That's just mind-blowing.... it has to be dropped drastically.
Can dismantle and rebuild? You get half the resources back I believe.Really?
Interesting. Kind of sucks that you cant move them once you place them then. =/
You mean they should possibly come up with a freighter system akin to normal ships? Like a staggered size/cost rate? I wouldn't mind an increased freighter variety. Possibly a few orbital cargo pods for sale early doors.

Nice. Cargo and base mission fixes. Also, the new scan could be cool. And, that last one, I actually just encountered that last one last night. Waypoints would still work but they didn't appear. You could still press the analog stick to move along them though, but was kinda confusing at first. The patch notes were available from the experimental branch, but yeah this isn't on their release log yet. Surprised it's live.
The power of the Analysis Visor upgrades has been significantly increased, resulting in much higher rewards when scanning with flora or fauna upgrades
Fixed an issue causing waypoint lines not to draw in the galactic map
Oh wow. I had seen quite a few in the 100s but just based on their slots size and ranks, I just assumed the price increase would diminish and maybe max out around 200 million. No idea how'd I'd be able to afford a max slot S rank Freighter now haha that's MMO levels of endgame grind I mean, I must have been at 125-150 hours /played when I got my C class one in v1.2 o.0 Clearly I need a better farm QQNo, those are the cheap ones. They can be priced up to 300 million. I've seen one at 265 million myself (and it was the star destroyer type I really wanted. And it was a super cool one. Not like I could afford it at 100 million but I was so sad seeing it. I even marked the system in case I get that much money to go back and see if I can find it again).

Not sure I'm fully understanding the question, but if you find a new ship, park your current ship next to it, you don't need to transfer everything over immediately.
You can claim the new one as your new ship, repair slots, then go back to your original one parked next to it, and transfer stuff at that time.
Since it needs fixing I assume it was a crashed ship, when you compare the 2 you should see the value of the new ship, I was using that as an indication of the cost it would take to fix, (there's probably a base value though so bear that in mind). So you may want to look at that regarding whether its worth the outlay to fix. If your current ship and new one have a similar value I wouldn't imagine its worth the hassle of wasting credits repairing slots.
Regarding pre-purchase repairs I never tried but I don't imagine you could repair slots in the same way you can't build in slots of a ship/device you're examining.
Also I've never tried so can't speak from experience but I think you can swap back to your old ship immediately after if you decide against it. I've always saved at the marker beforehand and reloaded if I miscalculate.
Very psyched about Cargo slots, and I just got my first Fauna Scanner upgrade and am saving for the Flora one before I leave my current system too. Imma scan all the things, should be litNice. Cargo and base mission fixes. Also, the new scan could be cool.
If you do it right, you get colored borders around the related tech. FancyAhhh yes, hadn't even thought of that.

If you don't actually care about your old save, scrap it for sure.So I haven't touched this game since about 2 weeks after launch and I don't remember much of it beyond getting a decent chunk of story missions done.
If I want to take advantage of all of this new stuff, would it make more sense for me to jump back into my old file, or should I just start a brand new one? I'm not opposed to either option.

Safer to start a new one or wait for more bug fixes.

O_O
What kind of adjacency bonuses we talking about? Worthwhile to scrap tech I have blueprints for and rebuild?
I mean unless it's super inconvenient, there's not all that much to lose. I would look up what the tech costs to build to see how much of a pain it'll be to get those mats, then decide whether or not to scrap.O_O

UCBooties said:I grabbed a 30 slot crashed ship and repaired a few of the slots but fixing the whole thing will take a loooong time and bankrupt me multiple times over. I'm wondering if I can flip it for another ship that is technically worse but still ends up having more slots than my previous ship.
Well.
I know what I'm doing tonight.
Sure can. If its a good ship though, perhaps you should just hang with it for now. Especially if its a Class 'A' or 'S'. It doesn't take that much to get up to 14-15 slots and then keep building from there..
Nah, it's a B class hauler. Good shields, but not much else going for it.
She's served me faithfully across the galaxy so far. I dunno if I'll ever trade up. I need to be able to visit all kinds of star systems, but as long as that is possible with tech it certainly suits my needs. Would be awesome if I could upgrade it to A class one day somehow I guess.

I booted the game up for the first time in almost a year. I totally forgot how to play and have no fuel to jump to a new system.
Sounds like they fixed a bunch of issues and will have to give it a legit shot again.

So what's the purpose of the technology tab in your ship inventory? You won't get as much of a bonus for grouping the upgrades as you would when installing them in your regular inventory, right?
The ๖ۜBronx;246330204 said:No and I wouldn't expect that to change. It would make the distances between planets far greater and more tedious to navigate around than it is now. It would also significantly reduce the amount of planets you see in the sky (reducing it down to just moons) which is a core tenet they we're going for. That is unless they orbited in a cluster which would make the whole thing redundant.
