How bad? I get over 60 and never below it on:
I7 3770K and a GTX 1060 6GB.
From 30 all the way up to 60-70 FPS...
Can you share your graphics settings?
I read something about enabling Tripple Buffering and that it helps a lot with the frames... Will try that today and ser how it goes.
Regarding the bug, it -might- be possible to grab the missing ones if you go to old systems the galaxy map flagged as terminals but you happened to go to one out of the order it kept spawning them. I really don't know, sorry. This is all I can think of.
For an "atlas ending" do you have to keep one of each seed type?! That's absurd amounts of very rare resources! Let's steal from Reddit exactly how much of everything you'd need of stuff for that:
A ship crash is one of the random events that can appear when you do a "get directions" or respond to stuff at terminals. Probably a rare event when you do a scan from long distance, too. Usually, if you keep looking, you'll find an outpost somewhere on a planet with a distress signal at the console inside. There used to be a bug where you could spawn almost infinite crashed ships but I'm going to assume that's gone. Basically, find a planet with good conditions that has a lot of inhabited places and if you keep poking terminals and talking to aliens the RNG will come up your way eventually.
Tip: Even if it's a ship you don't want, if it has components you should temporarily switch over and dismantle any parts. Claim the new ship, dismantle, then move those elements back over when you move back to your first.

Is that this same thing being described here? https://www.reddit.com/r/NoMansSkyT...want_to_keep_1_of_each_heres_a_chart/dloirgs/
I think it is what was described in this 1.32 patch note: "Fixed an issue that allowed players to miss Atlas Stations, which prevented progress. This will prevent new occurrences of the issue, a fix for those whove already experienced it is under investigation"
So it shouldn't occur for anyone starting to collect that stuff post 1.32 but they are still working on a fix for people who have been hit with the bug already. Sorry
Is there a way to know, before warping to a system, if they're going to have the specific planet types to get certain rare plants? e.g. can you know if a system will have a cold planet so you can be sure you'll find frost crystals (or whatever this farmer wants me to get to make some frost plant)?
Can I move a specialist terminal? Disassemble and rebuild? What happens to the guy working there, will he move to the new one?
yeah he is still there
How does that work? Where is he after I disassemble the old one but before I build the new one?
Thanks a bunch! At least i now know HOW to start trying to find one
I can't even imagine this game will be like in a year from now. With Atlas Rising HG has gained so much good will back - the folks at the studio must feel great.
Just build a new one.
I'd be totally happy with buying a paid expansion after they do one or two more big patches. They've definitely earned the right to start making more money of this game, I was hugely put off by the launch but I'm totally enamoured with it now and feel like I got a bit too much of a good deal for £10.http://www.********.com/game/84663/no-mans-sky/ (1.91m units sold as of June 2017)

If they keep up this level of support then they will deserve every dollar.

Yes, but I'm thinking of this from an existential point of view. Where does he go? Is he in some strange limbo?
They have changed the Atlas Path considerably from launch the more I read. I'll get into it myself after I finish my survey of the current system I'm in.Thanks for the response.
Yeah, that's it.
I have blueprints for Atlas stones that require stones I don't have blueprints for.
Holy crap. Though I can't deny I would probably have been doing the same if I could.Lame. Plenty to do while I wait for a patch I guess. Might take a break. Been playing for 6 or 7 hours a day since the update rolled out.

You're talking about a game where you walk through a portal to get to your base and build floating structures with a ray gun.. He becomes Space Atlas.

Fly over the surface of a planet and keep hitting the scan button. Eventually you'll find another ship. That's how I spent maybe an hour of my afternoon, and found four crashed ships. So that's something you can do if you have the time.

Nice i had no idea this would work either. will it be a green circle question mark icon or do ships have a different icon??
I stumbled across a crashed ship that was pretty much crap, so I think there's a bit of randomness. Also curious about this, as the ships i've been finding via transmission towers have been mostly junk, but the first two i ever found were just sitting at random, and were far better

Did they change how you get better warp drives since launch? How do you get them now? I found a ship with a Sigma, drive but then I found an S class ship with no upgraded warp drive, but it was way better than my C class so I had to get it, lol.
Since everything's a simulation, I guess they just log out for a bit
Guys, help me out here. Everytime I open the galactic map I see an option for "Scan Discoveries". What does it do exactly? You press L3 on PS4 and then I see a "Contact" sign written on some star systems I haven't discovered yet. What does that mean?

I know right ?
Wonder how much more big update like that we will get before being paid dlc/update .
It means it was already discovered by another player.
Interesting. With a universe as big as this the fact that I can see lots of already discovered systems close to where I am says a lot about how many people have been playing since the beginning.I believe it means that that system has been discovered by another player already.

Well, yes and no. If you have just started the game recently, you probably didn't get very far to the center (if you are going there at all). Since many players usually start at a similar distance from the center, you are essentially in a sort of "goldilocks zone" of activity. So yes, a lot of players have played this and discovered a lot but that activity will not be consistent everywhere.

I purposefully don't go looking, but still spend awhile choosing the next system in the star map and have never seen one that's taken. Must be in a very different part of the galaxy to some of you.
Oh, paid stuff won't be coming out for a while, I don't think. The past year has done wonders in restoring good will but they will want to maintain the momentum. Having 3-4 more updates that expand the game and fix current issues shouldn't be at all unreasonable. Creatures will certainly get reworked/diversified sooner or later, the inventory system needs a second look for sure, ground combat needs more substance, MULTIPLAYER has a lot of ways to go, etc. That all seems achievable in reasonably paced update intervals. 3 months was the usual waiting time for all but 1.3 but that one probably has 2 updates worth of content.
The game is selling well again so I don't think they are in a hurry to charge us a thing.
I feel like they want to perfect what we have now to the best of their abilities. Then, when the time is right (I imagine in late 2018) they will most likely release a proper "2.0". By that point, charging us money will not be an issue whatsoever.

There were some bugs in the original release with this. That's how the "you'll see other people" myth got busted, actually! Two people on Reddit just happened to start the game in adjacent systems so it was really easy to check on day 1 that they were lying. To accomplish one of their biggest selling points they were hoping on the microscopically low odds anyone would be near anyone else that was paying enough attention to where they were to ever check with anyone else, to say nothing of being on the same forum at the same time on release day. They must have been furious they were found out because was actually a very mathematically sound plan. This seems true. As I've traveled closer to the center I've seen practically no one else's discoveries. At the start they were everywhere it seemed. Someone even claimed one of my discoveries before I did so myself.

I know about this, but really only from the patch notes (). Did we know this before 1.3, or did HG just put a massive spoiler in their update notes?"a glitch in the simulation"
