Hopefully this chaos is not a ladder to worse things.

There are some BIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIG wheels turning behind the curtains everywhere right now.

I don't much like the simplicity/conspiracy idea of a hidden "deep state" monster that is out to get an elected president.

But it is annoying hearing distant echoes from connected people of large decisions happening in total secrecy, even if they are signaled as good news because they are tightening the noose around trump.

Makes one thing the White House and elected politicians are just a veneer for special interests that prefer to stay out of sight.

I doubt those interests lie asleep until times like this. Makes me wonder what they get up to when the presidency is humming along.

Honestly it's probably only because Bannon was the last one advocating government intervention in the economy and a tax hike on the mega rich. Now Trump is basically full Republican - great (in the short term at least, and that's all that matters) for Wall Street.
Yeah I wonder if Bannon was the last nominal populist in the building.

7 to 8 months of WH clearance Bannon definitely has a few connections made with his time there

so yea now he will probably be scarier on the outside

He's 'going to war' with people who only tolerated this long because the President liked him

He's an ant, they're a boot

Just an FYI: People do not like or support Bannon even now, they just hope he takes Trump down with him as taking down Trump.

So you can stop with you attempts.

Democrats need to use this now. They have been given so many miracles in the last year, that this is the perfect time to strike. However it seems Schumer, Warren, Bernie etc are just sitting on their hands. Enough is enough.

Even if he doesn't go after Trump himself he's going to go after the rest of his administration which is basically the same thing. This is a prime example for not making deals with the devil.

My bad, I misunderstood the whole situation here. So he is "going to war" for the President against others he deems is the President's enemies?

Interesting, I thought there was a divide with him and Trump, but I guess there isn't. So he is still a tool of Trump and not exactly forced out by Trump so he has no legal restraints. Interesting.

Basically I read this scenario the other way around and thought you were implying people are flip-flopping.

Or (the more likely scenario IMO), Bannon's full of shit

If there wasn't a divide, he'd still be there

Weekly Standard: Bannon: 'The Trump Presidency That We Fought For, and Won, Is Over.'

With the departure from the White House of strategist Stephen K. Bannon, who helped shape the so-called nationalist-populist program embraced by Donald Trump in his unlikely path to election, a new phase of the Trump presidency begins. Given Trump's nature, what comes next will hardly be conventional, but it may well be less willfully disruptive—which, to Bannon, had been the point of winning the White House.

”The Trump presidency that we fought for, and won, is over," Bannon said Friday, shortly after confirming his departure. ”We still have a huge movement, and we will make something of this Trump presidency. But that presidency is over. It'll be something else. And there'll be all kinds of fights, and there'll be good days and bad days, but that presidency is over."

...

Bannon says that his departure was voluntary, and that he'd planned it to coincide with the one-year anniversary of his joining the Trump campaign as chief executive, on August 14, 2016.

”On August 7th , I talked to [Chief of Staff John] Kelly and to the President, and I told them that my resignation would be effective the following Monday, on the 14th," he said. ”I'd always planned on spending one year. General Kelly has brought in a great new system, but I said it would be best. I want to get back to Breitbart."

Kind of. Trump is easily manipulated and he is still a strong face for the alt right shit, so he doesn't want to go on record as being against Trump directly yet, but whether that's his intent or not, by 'going to war' with the administration it will do nothing but hurt Trump indirectly and promote more infighting that already plagues it so much.

I can't believe an administration that resembles an episode of Jerry Springer more than it does actual government is having such a hard time.

Sounds like a statement to rally his troops. Looks like there IS going to be a "war".
The war going on started last weekend in the streets. The white house may fall further into disarray but without a strong federal stance against the alt-right movement bringing in police force the war is going to have to escalate.

It already was going to with Trump equating both sides in Charlottesville and Bannon could be a key figure in organizing and rallying nazi forces to his cause against the forces fighting for good like BLM and Antifa.

Civil war won't come in America from government forces against separatists. It'll be ideologies spilling blood in the streets combined with the political battle in government over who gets to have government force brought down on them, nazis and their sympathizers, or patriotic resisters.

Damn. Well that doesn't sound like "he's fighting for Trump still!" like some people were reporting
Not quite. His problem is the republican establishment and globalists like Ivanka and Jared meddling with a platform he feels he created and Trump ran on and won with. He says that platform is dead without him and thus the presidency people voted for is dead and will be watered down.

It is not against Trump himself, don't expect him to trash Trump unless he moves to the left like he is warning about.

The white supremacy in the open presidency is over. The incompetence, however, will always be there.

The big boy improvised the "crack their heads on your cars" and "Very Fine People" well enough without the guy's help. But we will have less of Steve's "Yes, of course I meant to do that, disruption!"

My release valve when listening to and reading all the oppo droppo :)
Had plans for the Mooch as well, but the Administration's hire, fire, hire, fire schedule is just to fast to keep up with :)
I could def see this going viral. Them GIFs might become a staple when indictments come. I was hoping Donnie Jr would make it on there.

What are you talking about? Bernie is running a grass-roots campaign style right now as he's going to town halls in Indiana, Ohio, and Michigan next week. He's putting in work

This reminds me of "No Vaseline" for some reason

I think this is the right take on the situation

They made a political calculation. Following Charlottesville it was more advantageous to have Bannon helming the far right on the outside.

The Alt-right lost lots of its outside power in terms of politics when Bannon went into the white house. Now you can expect Breitbart etc. to go full nuclear war on any GOP member who doesn't fall in line etc.

This is about revamping the power system to try and put the pressure back on the GOP
